Elizabeth Edwards Opens Up To Oprah

Elizabeth Edwards - wife of former presidential candidate John Edwards - sat down with Oprah at her home in North Carolina and talked about the revelations that her husband had cheated on her, the impact it had on her, their family and on his presidential campaign. In the interview, airing today, Oprah asks Edwards whether she is still in love with her husband. "You know, that's a complicated question," Edwards responded.

I haven't seen the Oprah interview yet. However, it sounds like Mrs. Edwards has written a book and is making the rounds (I heard she'll be on Larry King and The View in the coming days) so it doesn't seem like such a big coup.
It will be interesting to see whether her book (or the interviews) focus solely on her husband's indescretions or on her other battles.

She's not the first woman to have her husband cheat on her. I am tired of hearing about it, but I guess she has to sell books. I do feel bad about her having the terminal cancer.
