Amanda Baker Returns to All My Children

SOAPnet is reporting that Amanda Baker is reprising her role as Babe on All My Children for a handful of episodes as Babe's ghost:
She'll visit JR, who lord knows is going to need a visit by a friendly face at that point (trust us). But what will ghost Babe have to say about her sister, Marissa, and the other big secret her mama Krystal is keeping?
Given that Jesse Hubbard came back as a ghost before coming back to life......you never know. Oh yeah, what's this about Krystal's other big secret?

Oh, Krystal has another big secret other than Babe having a fraternal twin - Marissa. Would that be what Adam revealed 5/5/09 about Krystal having sold, imagine that, sold Marissa. It does sound horrible doesn't it as opposed to Marissa being adopted. Apparently, David was not in the picture when Krystal gave birth those many years ago. Still, can't imagine Krystal selling Marissa. Imagine David's reaction but it would be a lot more devastating for Marissa when she finds out. Furthermore, Does this story line redeems Brian Frons/Charles Pratt?

WTH is AMC's fascination with the character of Babe? Can't they just let an awful character rot in hell so that the rest of us can forget about her? The only thing redeeming about Babe was Alexa Havins and after she left they should have killed the character off. Now we get the recast back as a ghost? Ugh....just ugh!

Now I'll admit I really like the actress portraying Marissa - she does a great job. I'd stopped watching AMC for a while and skipped Babe #2 Amanda Baker. Babe #1, Alexa Havins, is who I remember. I would love to see Brooke English (Julia Barr) back in Pine Valley, if only for a visit, to catch us up on what's been going on with her. Daisy if recall, was at one point and time, married to Palmer Cortlandt - right. I could see them bringing Janet back just briefly to see her daughter Amanda off the show. How TPTB/writers are going to write Amanda off the show later this summer and weave Janet into the story line, well, leave it up to them as I don't have a suggestion at the moment.

Is it just me or does the girl that plays Marissa remind anyone of Colby? Imagine her with blonde hair. Her voice is the same and some of her looks and mannerisms are the same too.

Season, I'm glad I am not the only one who noticed. It's kind of hard for me to take her seriously when she looks like Colby, but is actually Babe's twin sister.

I agree that they look alot alike but Marissa is played by Brittney Allen and Colby is played by Brianne Moncrief so they aren't the same person but if you didn't know that then you would think that
