Is Sean Kanan Bringing Deacon Sharpe to The Young and the Restless?

Remember my exclusive interview last December with former General Hospital and The Bold and the Beautiful hearttrob Sean Kanan, the one where I suggested his popular B&B bad boy Deacon Sharpe should cross over to The Young and the Restless?
DC: If Deacon can't make a return visit to the fictional Los Angeles universe of the Forresters and Logans, what about him showing up in Genoa City? Your former onscreen partner-in-crime Adrienne Frantz (Amber Moore) is doing the work of her career on The Young and the Restless. Would you consider taking Deacon to the other Bell soap?
SK: I would absolutely love to do Y&R. I loved working with Adrienne. She is an amazingly-talented person. It would be great to have Amber and Deacon mixing it up again.
DC: It would be amazing! As great as Amber's crossover has been, the one thing I've always had a bit of an issue with is that she seems to have forgotten Little Eric, or Little D as Deacon renamed him when he won custody (Deacon fathered a child with Amber's cousin Becky on The Bold and the Beautiful. Amber passed the child off as her son with Rick Forrester. Once it was discovered, Deacon ultimately won custody of his son, but allowed Amber to stay in his life). That kid was such a huge part of Amber's mythology; I can't imagine she wouldn't be in touch with Little D. and Deacon.
SK: I agree."
Well, we've been hearing persistent rumblings that it just might happen. This weekend, I caught up with Kanan, after a tweet from Soap Opera Digest saying the magazine was hearing he might be heading back to B&B as Deacon, caused an online frenzy.
"That's is the first I've heard of anything like that," says Kanan. "I've just been really busy focusing on the web series I'm doing."
For my money, between Y&R and B&B, Y&R is the safer bet. While it would be great to see Deacon reconnect with little Hope, Bridget (Ashley Jones) and especially the sexsational Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang)—wipes mouth at memory of the romp in Brooke's office— there is still so much untapped potential between Deacon and Amber (Adrianne Frantz). The mere thought of a Deacon/Amber/Daniel (Michael Graziadei) triangle has me salivating. Besides, Deacon reappearing in Los Angeles would play out much better in a few years once Hope is SORAS'ed.
Now them, if and when Kanan does end up on Y&R or back on B&B, I can focus on getting my other favorite soap baddie back onscreen. Time to do a Wishful Casting for Tom Eplin!

Man Deacon could really cause some trouble on Y&R. They need a good bad boy. There are a couple people who on the show that I think he could be good with. Putting him in a triangle with Daniel and Amber could be good.
I would also like to test his chemistry with Phyliss or Chloe. Maybe even Nikki Newman.

Deacon/Amber/Daniel would be awesome, but further down the line... Phyllis and Deacon could be smokin'

Is Graz still said to be leaving soon? If so, it'd certainly give Amber something to do! If not, I am staying on team Daniel/Amber.

I'd love it if Deacon Sharpe returned to Los Angeles! B&B sure could use this character to help stir the pot and give some different storylines than what we've gotten lately.
I certainly wouldn't mind Deacon Sharpe showing up in Genoa City, either. I always thought that Deacon and Amber were hot so having him paired with Amber on Y&R would be great.

How about using some of the neglected cast members already on the show in stories instead of hiring more actors?
Amber is heavily involved in Katherine's and Kevin's stories. I don't think she needs yet another story.

I would love to see Amber and Deacon slowly reconnect. I always thought they belonged together!
