Okay, let me preface this by saying how much I absolutely love, love, love Jess Walton, but if this whole "under the weather" business turns out not to be true and Y&R decides to recast Jill, I would pay-per-view to see Jane Elliot (Tracy, GH) as Jill. Type amongst yourselves!

Oh Jamey don't make me even think about it. Jess has to stay! There is no place for a recast. But if they had to ... Jane Elliot would be awesome. As long as they don't let Dickson return. That I couldn't take. But I don't even wanna think about it. Jess Walton has to stay ... she deserves to play the stuff that is coming now.

When Jill was shot by Sven, her masseur, in the delicious 80s storyline, "Who shot Jill?", Brenda's Jill uttered those words to Ashley Abbott when Ashley made a comment about the possibility of Jill having died from her gunshot wound. "Much to your chagrin, Ashley, I did not die." That was some good soapy drama.
And what is with no one but me giving Brenda Dickson any love today? She was awesome!

I would hate to lose Jess, but it would be absolutely incredible for YR to get Jane Eliot! She is a great actress and a class act b*tch, and she is certainly capable of playing Jill convincingly. Of course, all of my best wishes for Jane are tempered with the wish to see her gone from the GH canvas. I hate watching Tracy and Luke together; it is indeed LuNacy, and I despise it. For any interested, I was, am now, and will always be a LnL fan. Guza and Phelps rewrite is blasphemy, because Luke would never allow Laura to go without him. I'm rooting for an immediate change for Jane Eliot; she will be successful wherever she goes, as she has proven before, and at least at YR, she would get a decent storyline. Go for it Jane!!!!

I have been a life long Young and the Restless fan and have never gotten over Brenda Dickson's exit from the show. The best thing to happen lately is Thom Bierdz's return and the writers finally waking up to Jill and Kay not being mother and daughter. That was horrible. With everything going on now I say please bring Brenda Dickson back. Nobody will ever play Jill as she did. No offesnse to Jess but if she were to leave the show tomorrow and Brenda return, I would view Jess's run as nothing more then a horrible dream. I will always favor Brenda. As for that thing above, NO! It can only be Brenda with the original Phillip back. Replacing Brenda in daytime is like if Dynasty would have replaced Joan Collins. Doesn't work. Brenda captures the glamour that this show lost somewhere after she left. And all these new players, please. They walk around like people I can see out my front window. When Greg York passed away the fashion flew out the window.

she never had conflict with the show. They were making a big deal of her breast size and wanted her to tape them down. It's on the E! True Hollywood story I taped. I have always followed Brenda Dickson & Thom Bierdz and they also were upset because she was missing work because of illness. One of the workers was on the E special not speaking very kindly but he doesnt work on the show anymore and I'm hoping someday she will have a chance. Nobody will ever out do the original. Sorry Jess. It may be years now but Brenda will never be forgotten by her true fans.
