Matthew Buchanan's New Friend on OLTL

I wanted to take a moment to say how much I'm enjoying Matthew's (Eddie Alderson) new high school friend Destiny (Shenell Edmonds) on One Life to Live.I find her to be a refreshing addition to Matthew's storyline. Is it just me or does she seem to have a crush on Matthew? It's just my opinion, but I think these two have tons of potential. Hopefully she'll stick around.

She's cute, for sure. I can't remember her name, but when I first heard it, I thought it was outrageous enough that I thought maybe she could be related to Epiphany on GH! Maybe some crossover potential!?
I'm really happy that they've kept the Alderson siblings around on OLTL. In this recast-happy genre, I am glad that they are an exception. Eddie and Robert S. Woods have a great father-son rapport. I'm anxious to see that develop as he matures. He seems to be every bit as talented as his hilarious and (sometimes) heartbreaking sister.

He would be gone because he will either be casted in a lot of movies or get a tv show. That boy can act.

I hope Destiny is destined to stick around. She so has a crush on Matthew!!!!! Matthew's scenes with her were my most favorite during last Friday's episode as well as yesterdays. I wonder if she is related to anyone on the canvas? If not I hope she sticks around. She is Ron Carlivati's only best new character introduction since becoming head writer.

I think, "Destiny" is adorable!--Clearly she's a much better friend to Matthew, right now...When you're a kid, she's the kind of friend you want to have. One who doesn't necessarily follow, blindly, along with everyone else. "Destiny" has staying power. I hope tptb think the young actress does too!
