Eddie Cibrian And LeAnn Rimes: Publicity Stunt Or Affair?

Us Weekly is reporting that Eddie Cibrian (ex-Cole Deschanel, Sunset Beach) and country music singer LeAnn Rimes are having an affair.

The new Us Weekly features pictures taken from a video security camera that show the two holding hands and kissing on a romantic dinner date at Mosun and Club M in Laguna Beach, California on March 7. Additionally, Us Weekly reports that the new couple met for a three-hour tryst at the Malibu Beach Inn on March 14.

Do you believe the report or do you think this is a publicity stunt to help gain interest in Rimes' upcoming Lifetime flick, Northern Lights?

Shock People don't stage affairs to promote Lifetime movies! They wait for the big screen like Mr. and Mrs. Smith! I guess Eddie couldn't fight the moonlight and she couldn't fight the dimples!

I didn't even bother to vote because who the hell cares!!!!! How is this relevant to daytime television? Sunset Beach has been off the air for years and Eddie Cibrian no longer has a connection to daytime.

We have always covered former daytime stars, from Sarah Michelle Gellar to Josh Duhamel. Eddie didn't just do SB, he was also on The Young and the Restless as Matt Clark and is best friends with Josh Morrow (Nicholas) and was in a hip hop band with him. As for Leanne Rimes, she is a huge Days of Our Lives fan and actually had a recurring role as Eric Brady's love interest.

They have both issued statements... EC's is a flat out denial saying they were just having dinner and LR's says not everything is black and white. It seems the article and resulting internet drama has caused troubles in both their marriages.
