Who In High Hell Fathered David Vickers on OLTL?

It looks like Dorian won't be getting her Sue Ellen Ewing on anytime soon. Nelson Branco is reporting that Bo, not his late Pa Asa, is the father of The-Buddhist-Formerly-Known-As-David Vickeroshi, yet somehow DNA tests match up Rex and David! Say what, say huh? Did Rex father David as Bo when he was back in time, or...could David be Roxie's baby daddy? If Rex is David's daddy, does that mean Gigi is his Ma? It's gonna take John McBain, Tad Martin, Nancy Drew, Jessica Fletcher, the entire cast of Edge of Night and that dude from Quantum Leap to sort through this business!

My vote is ??? Let's see, Asa is dead, there is more drama if Bo is the daddy, and, if Roxie slept with David year's ago, that means that Rex is Bo's grandson, and Shane is Bo's great-grandson? Is that right? I was hoping Mitch was Rex's father which would explain WHY Roxie refuses to tell him the truth, it would also mean Rex and Jessica are 1/2 bro-sis, and since Rex and Nattie considered themselves to be bro-sis, it makes for some funny and drama filled holiday dinners... Or, made I need a few shots to figure this all out and WHY RC is going with Bo being David's father...

Time travel is my specialty folks! Kinda sorta. A little bit. LOL
Bo will be David's biological father via DNA.
Rex and Bo only jumped into Bo and Asa's bodies, respectively, Quantum Leap-style. Or if you watch Lost, only their consciousness traveled through time.
In 1968, we saw only Bo and Rex in the forms of Woods and Lavoissier because it was dramatically better to do so (just as viewers saw Sam/Scott Bakula on Quantum Leap when Sam was inhabiting someone else's body), but the other characters saw only Asa and Bo.
Therefore, Asa and Bo were the same physically in 1968.
Nelson's spoiler indicates that the DNA test will briefly show Rex as David's father. This is really no more than a wink & a nod to the audience that who we saw looked like Rex sleep with David's mother. The final test will reveal that David is Bo's son since it was HIS physical body that mated with Emma.
The reason why present day Bo doesn't remember sleeping with Emma is because he was literally out of his mind: Rex was occupying it (and Emma) at the time.
Asa would assume that David was his son because, to his knowledge, the time frame would fit with him sleeping with her and getting her pregnant and not suspecting that Bo (who literally didn't know he'd done son) could be the father.
When everything was set right, Bo, Rex and Gigi returned to 2008.
The only major plot hole is how did Gigi physically transport to 1968? Gigi's physical presence in 1968 muddles the waters because, in theory, she should have jumped into someone else's body. (If memory serves, Bo & Rex's bodies were left in 2008 after the lightning/time travel strike). However, this can be resolved by noting that Gigi herself had no actual analogue like Bo & Rex did to Asa & Bo as father and son, even though Gigi had a look-a-like in Emma.

J. Bernard, while Gigi DID transport back to 1968, Farah Fath was already there, playing the dual role of Gigi and David's mom. Remember when they actually met? So Rex-as-Bo didn't sleep with Gigi-as-Emma-Bradley (David's mother), he actually slept with Emma Bradley, who just happened to look like Gigi.

I really enjoyed the time travel story and this kind of reveal is the payoff I've been waiting for. To each their own, I guess. I think the other twist that's coming about Rex and David is fun, too! (SPOILER AHEAD so stop reading now if you don't want to know) All these years, we've been waiting to find out that Bo is Rex's father, but now it appears they may just be separated by one more generation than anyone had previously thought! I love stuff like this!

This storyline has too many holes. Cord was already born before '68 but RC's time travel story had him not born as of yet. When Maria Roberts came to Llanview in '86, it had been 20 years since she had seen Clint, thanks to Asa banishing her, which means Cord was born in either '65 or '66. The whole debacle with Asa, David and Bo is even more of a mess. And why didn't they mention Renee having been pregnant with Ben during that time as well?

It's still sucks, there's no pay off for fans who have waited for the reveal that David is Asa's son. It sucks, I'm sorry. I hate rewrites, especialy time traveel rewrites and I feel like I've been slapped in the face. I'm that livid, maybe I shouldn't be, but I am. Ugh if your gonna do time travel stories do them right, these guys must of thought they were Lost or something good.

Clint's lost son is Cord, Asa had Ben, and now it is Bo's turn with David. I liked the original 1888 storyline with Clint Richie, and the one from 1968 was fun..yes, there are some holes, but, it's not as bad as the spoiler's from GH's bio-toxin, hospital fire, etc...gore fest!

Saying one show is not as bad as another is not a good thing. Strive for excellenc. Don't look over your shoulder and slow down, because everyone is far behind. No records are won that way.
I appricate a show not dropping stories. Karma plays a part when you take that into account however. I guess getting my Budhism lesson from OLTL is paying off.

Isn't it funny how they can satisfy one section of fans and alienate another at the same time? I personally love that they would validate the 1968 time travel storyline with this twist but I can also feel for the fans who have been waiting 6 years for David to get the truth. As for David as Rex's Daddy... Roxie you bad thing; David must have been way too young for you back then! Shame, Shame, Shame. I like it.
