Rick Forrester Joins The Army

In its latest issue, Soap Opera Weekly is reporting that The Bold and the Beautiful’s Rick Forrester (Kyle Lowder) is joining the army. If it wasn’t odd enough for Bridget to suddenly ditch her medical career and become a designer, now her brother is signing up for military service. Maybe next month Donna will leave her honey bear and become a nun. Lowder had this to say:

If you’re going to tell the story, it has to be legit. And in my opinion they did that and I’m happy with it. Rick’s whole family has a scene right before he joins, where they’re talking about not just the wrong doing that he’s done toward Forrester Creations, but toward his own family... I, as the actor in this storyline, was playing this with nothing but the highest of respect and seriousness toward the situation.

No, naughty tomato (bad, bad tomato, I might have to turn you into ketchup). Rick's staying put, I can't imagine he'll be signed up for long... probably just long enough to have more scenes of Steffy whining him longing to be with her. Yuck!

I was hoping that Steffy was going to join the convent and never to be seen or heard from again. Brad, wTF you are doing with you soap. It needs fixing bad. Darren, I hate Steffy, the actress can't cut it, the show needs to go back to basics, and not the who will screw Brooke mess. But a fashion show and corporate espionage and some couples to root for. I hate Bridge, Deric is sick, Nick and Katie are a bore, Taylor has no one, Stephanie is a old bad, Sick is sickly, Felicia and Thorne is never on and it is the same old same old. Please Brad, make me love this show again.
