Remember that Performer of the Week episode a while back when I said I only needed two words - Jacqueline Hendy - for my dishonorable mention? Well all those of you who went "Luke who the hell was your pick?", need to check this out. Soap Opera Network is reporting that the actress, who portrayed the manipulative Vanessa Montez, has been released from her contract with One Life to Live.

Thank you, somebody in charge is listening and getting rid of people who can't act and no one cares about. All they need to get rid of next is Cris, Lola, Ray, Noelle, Mo, and some other I can't name and bring back RJ Gannon Timothy Stickney and Lindsay Rapporart Cat Hickland.

Thank GOD. But honestly, the writers never seemed to flesh out that cockamamie story about her and Ray enough to keep it interesting in spite of Cris's presence. I hope she takes him with her. I mean, seriously, what's SO HARD ABOUT FIRING DAVID FUMERO? His "eye candy" days are behind him so there's really nothing left.

i'm always sorry to hear of someone losing their job, but as a viewer i am pleased. the character of vanessa just clogs up screentime that could be used for better characters. and frankly, girlfriend can't act her way out of a paper bag.

I am outraged! How dare OLTL do this??? Luke I want to do a special Super-Sized Hendy-gate podcast!!! This getting rid of hair models and actually writing good, character driven storylines for vets, twentysomethings and teens has got to stop! And don't get me started on Dorian giving David head! I hope Vanessa does not become a victim of the serial killer storyline. However, I do think she deserves to be put in jail and pay for manipulating Lola and having Ray unjustly imprisoned. Having Vanessa murdered would be lazy writing. The storyline and characters were already poorly written so I am hoping the writers do not take the easy way out. Besides, OLTL has always incorporated some aspect of the legal system into most of its stories. I hope Ray and Lola exit stage left quietly. They should live happily ever after in Columbia and we the viewers can live happily ever after knowing they are not stealing valuable screen time from other important Llanview residents.
Also, ispiron, If Lola were the serial killer, why would she kill Janet, and Wes? She has no connection to them.
