Hmmm, Is Victor's Mystery Woman on Y&R, Whackadoodle Mari Jo Mason?

While watching The Mustache interact with his mystery woman on The Young and the Restless tonight, I started to ponder who exactly is it that Victor is planning to use to take Jack down? Sheila? Nah. Jack had little interaction with Genoa City's most infamous psycho. Diane Jenkins? Possible, but not likely. Why would Diane need plastic surgery to torment Jack, when she has his son Kyle—someone please address the Kyle factor— in her posession? Then it hit me...could the mystery woman be Mari Jo Mason, the nutty-as-a-fruitcake former Jabot art director who was obsessed with both Jack and his Amerasian son Keemo?
The last time we saw Mari Jo, she was being carted off to a funny farm after a crime spree that included hiring a hooker to sleep with Keemo while pretending she was Mari Jo (and you thought Cane was a dim bulb!), shooting Victor, framing Jill Abbott and trying to kill Cricket—nobody messes with the Bug!
I have to give it to the gang at Y&R, if the mystery woman is Mari Jo it will be quite the clever twist. Mari Jo would be the last character I would ever expect to resurface in Genoa City, considering she was pretty much a poor soap fan's Phyllis/Sheila hybrid. Stacy Haiduk, who has reportedly been cast as a new love interest for Jack, has an essence similar to that of Diana Barton, who portrayed Mari Jo, so maybe that's why she was cast? Whether or not the mystery woman turns out to be Mari Jo or not, this smells like another juicy, soaptastic story and I for one can't wait to see it play out! VOTE WITH YOUR REMOTE FOR THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS!

Oh yes I agree totally that Victor will do anything to get back at Jack. Here's to hoping it is her!

Good guess, Jamey. But the mystery woman told Victor that she had never flown on a private jet before. And I think that Mari Jo (and Diane) were sophisticated and connected enough to have had that experience. So, my guess is Jack's gun-toting (and she knew how to use it) first wife, Patti Williams. Patti’s return would be a very nice nod to history. Or, it could be Lindsay Wells. Anyone remember her?
By the way, The Young and the Restless is sooooooo GOOD, I spend my workday counting the minutes until I can get home and watch that day's episode.

Is she talking on a red phone all the time? I loved it when Victor was shot cause I don't like him. So Mari Jo is kind of a hero. If she came back and shot him again it would get me watching Y&R.

I’m really hoping Maria Arena Bell changes things up a little from tradition and give Victor’s revenge a little twist where it doesn’t work out as planned. When all is said and done, Jack turns out to get the upper hand. It’s usually Jack gives a little smack and yet Victor always hits harder. Their rivalry has always been mostly one-sided and tiresome and Victor always ends up dogging the whole Abbott family in the process. I want to see Jack ultimately win this particularly battle.

I would have agreed with you a few years back. Victor constantly beating Jack used to drive me insane, but for the last few years, Jack has had the upper hand. He took advantage of Victor while he was sick with epilepsy, he slandered Sabrina, used David Chow to humiliate Nikki and set Victor's son up to take the fall in the whole fake memoirs caper. Jack is due some payback.

I think that the mystery woman is the "NOT so dead" victim of Gloria's tainted cream-since Jack is now threatening Gloria with going ahead with the lawsuit.

If it's Mari Jo Mason I've said i before in an earlier post and I'll say it again. I miss that crazy b! But it wouldn't make sense considering that she shot Victor.

I'm probably one of the very few viewers who enjoyed Mari Jo...and, yeah, it was 'cause she shot Victor! So if the character returned to GC, with a new face, that'd be cool with me!

Michael Baldwin once represented Diane Jenkins in her divorce from Victor and helped her secure Newman stock, that he then used to help Jack and Brad temporarily oust Victor from the helm of Newman Enterprises, but now Michael's Victor's right hand. The Mustache will use old enemies to suit his purpose if need be, especially if his purpose is sticking it to Jack Abbott.

You have a point Jamey and I stand corrected. Jack has been quite busy lately. I still want my Victor total (yet temporary) downfall storyline whether it was by Jack's hand or someone else.

Oh no Luverica, I do too! LOL I like both characters and think they are the best male rivalry in daytime since Carl Hutchins and Mac Cory, but i tend to favor Smilin' Jack. The Abbotts are near and dear to my heart.

I'm with pspencer618... I think this mystery woman is the "NOT so dead" victim of the tainted Jabot face cream. This twist would get Gloria off-the-hook, out of jail, and back into a money/power position (with the sale of her Jabot stock to Victor). I wouldn't be surprised if it's Stacy Haiduk who will portray this character receiving plastic surgery thanks to Victor and intended to take Jack Abbott down...but you gotta bet the twist will be that something will click between Jack and Stacy's new character and we'll see plenty of good storyline and drama.

like SoapSnob I thought of Patti but all options seem like a long shot.
I loved Mari Jo. She was a true femme fatale I'm sure she's off somewhere trying to kill James Bond. If she were ever to return I'd want the original actress.

Ok DanMan, I think you are on to something. I like the way you think. I did not even think of linking it to Stacy Haiduk's new character.

That would be sick if it was Mary Jo. She was bat-shit crazy! I loved every minute of her torturing Cricket.
