Y&R: Colleen vs. Victor?

Like father like daughter? Looks like its going to be that way when Colleen "Cee Cee" Carlton (Tammin Sursok) goes guns blazing after Victor "The Black Knight" Newman (Eric Braeden). What has Cee Cee swinging, all starts when  Brad (Don Diamont) is late for their lunch date and he doesn't contact her. Colleen knows that her pops is always readily available and always keeps his promise of spending time with his daughters. When she still hasn't heard from Brad after a day is almost gone, she knows something is wrong. Her uncle and best friend Billy and Lily (Billy Millier, Christel Khalil) try to calm her worries but that doesn't work with Colleen and she sets off to look for her dad. She turns to JT (Thad Luckinbill) for help, busting up his one year anniversary with Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Good thing she did because JT's already making some headway in locating Brad.

JT has a search underway for Brad and turns up his car and his cell both are abandoned with no sign of Brad. While this takes place, Abby (Hayley Erin ), Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Billy and Lily access Brad's voicemail and are blown away when they listen to Victor bullying Brad about not giving up his seat from Newman Enterprise's Board of Directors. As Abby confronts Victor about this big sis/cousin Colleen hears and unloads on Victor! She accuses Victor of Brad's disappearance in front of everyone and lets it be known she and everyone else knows that Victor can't stand Brad. Meanwhile Noah, who is in the hospital after falling through the ice, remembers that Brad is the one who pulled him to safety. After Victor figures out that the situation is perilous, he decides to use his own contacts in hopes of finding Brad. The situation looks grim for Brad to the point that JT confides in Billy that the outlook on an alive Brad isn't very likely. We saw the onscreen magic of Eric Braeden and Billy Miller earlier this week. Will lightening strike twice for Braeden and Sursok? Will Miller and Luckinbill scream chemistry when Billy finally has a scene with old high school buddy JT? As Jamey says, vote with your remote to see this play out.

If we are lucky and Victor looks guilty of Brad's disappearance, I'd love for Colleen and Jack team up to take on Victor (hopefully with Colleen being played by a good actress).

If Colleen blames Victor for Brad's disappearance I can see Jack trying to use this to his advantage, i.e Brad's NE Seat...

It could also lead to a civil war within the Abbott family with Jill and Billy teaming up with Victor against Jack for Jabot. I can just see it now Jill and Billy on one side with Jack and Colleen on the other side duking it out thanks to Victor and Ashley caught in the middle.

As much as I can't stand Victor, Eric Braeden will eat Sursok for breakfast. So, Don Diamont loses his job and the insipid and inept Sursok finally gets a storyline. She better damn well deliver although we know she won't. How many actors have to be fired for this incapable actress to make a break through?

I hope Heather nails Victor to the wall for whatever happens to Brad!

I love it when anyone stands up and refuses to be intimidated by "the moustache".

Mrs. Adam Carrington, you are so on the mark with that. See this is why I wished they had Keemo and Kyle on the canvas, this could be a full out Newman vs. Abbott war even though Brad ain't no Abbott. We all know that once Jack finds out about the transaction Gloria did with Victor its going to be war yet again! That NE seat is ripe for the picking if Maria and co play this out very well and I'm hoping they will. So far they are.

Victor needs to go down for this. Heather lock him up.

Jillian,

I had this little story growing in my head that Keemo comes back in the middle of this and Victor and Jack are going tit for tat. Then Victor tries to mainpulate Keemo which he's having none of, Jack and Keemo (remeber Keemo's a chemist like Ashley) start a side project away from Jabot, they develop a product which they make a deal with Jabot to distribute. This then lulls the little Abbott civil war, which infuriates Victor who then hires a thug to destroy their offices/lab where Keemo gets caught in it and is almost killed. Jack then finds out, he investigatges and gets the evidence on Victor, with Keemo in a coma Jack confronts Victor with the evidence to send him to prison again he then LETS Victor get away with it because he loves his son more than he hates Victor. That way Victor doesn't lose but more importantly Jack gets to be the better man.

Tell me what you think.

Tammin Sursok will be going up against Eric Braeden? There are just so many things wrong with that sentence. What does Sursok have that's keeping her on Y&R for so long? Geesh.

I so agree with you ktuc. Too bad TS is incapable of going against anyone and stay in the moment! That would have been must see TV.

As for Billie going against Jack, he told point blanks Victor he will not go against his brother and I don't know why suddenly he would change his mind. And I don't get what it has to do with anything.

He will support CC that is for sure, and I hope that Abby listen to the message because she won't like bio dad that much, if she listen to bio dad is in pure Victor form!

They should've kept Diamont..I can think of a few others they could've dumped instead.

This just leads to the big question: Why killing off Brad, before you didn't get rid of this daughter of his.

And for Victor vs. Colleen ... can somebody even say this without LOL ?
Victor wouldn't even need a second to scare the hell out of this hair model.

Mrs. Adam Carrington, sounds like the folks over at Peapack can use this more that Y&R because they are on fire! *LOL* Now I dig this idea but I'd tweak it with having Keemo as the chemist that both Jabot and Newman are trying to lure in and when the time comes for the mystery man to make his choice Keemo strolls in and sides with VICTOR because he's a bit heated at dad for not being with him for all those years. In actuality, Keemo's a double-agent for Jabot and Jack's in on the entire thing. Having someone from the inside of Newman helping Jabot. That would kickass!

Ok I'm sorry but there is no way that jack should be a good guy. He and victor are just alike to me. As for Brad why should victor be blamed when its Phyllis that's at fault. And heather is a whinny pain however she should find a way to stick it to victor since he treated her like crap in the begining.

Jillian,

That's a brilliant idea, its soapy without being over the top. Coroprate intrigue is always the best storyline because it utilises the vets. Shame that the idiots at Peapack forgot this and have written GL around Grady, whoever thought that up should never be allowed to write ever again.

About Colleen v. Victor, this storyline, writing wise it is a great storyline but with Tammin Sursok as Colleen I'm afraid it won't work even if Colleen teams up with Jack. Eric Braeden and Peter Bergman will eat her alive in a scene without even opening their mouths.

msjonea,

I am an unabashed Jack fan but I see him for what he is, my problem with Victor is that he does bad things just like Jack but unlike Jack he always wins. That's why i opined that scenario, I just want Jack to win once and Victor to suffer the consequences of his bad behaviour.

What a laugh riot, Tammin Sursok's Colleen confronting THE Victor Newman! This is sure to be another lackluster scene portrayed by this "actress" who has been a dismal failure as Colleen ever since she was miscast in this role. If she has more than two words to say, that Aussie accent comes through.

I'd love to know what TS has on TPTB at Y&R that enables her to keep her job when veteran actors like Don Diamont are getting fired. TS should have lost her job shortly after she debuted as Colleen. She's never improved one iota after having been in the role all of this time. TPTB must know that's she's unpopular in the role, otherwise they would be having her on screen more.

I would love to see Adrianne Leon's Colleen confront Victor. She did a great job when Colleen confronted Victoria that time. Of course, Colleen was in the wrong but the point is Adrianne handled the scene brilliantly and left me cackling with glee even though I knew Colleen was just plain mean to Victoria. I have no doubt that Adrianne would have been able to hold her own superbly if she were portraying Colleen confronting Victor Newman.

Tammin vs. Victor? I'm sure that is illegal in most states. No state allows child abuse.
