Seeing Double Blind Item

TV Guide Canada's Nelson Branco has two juicy blind items in this week's Nelson Ratings. Check out one below and then be sure to read this week's Nelson Ratings for the other.
Which uber-popular Emmy winner is being phased out because he can’t remember his lines? The soap plans to keep them on the show on a recurring basis as their twin.
Personally, I'm not sure I like what this might mean. How many uber-popular daytime Emmy winners have characters with twins?

Not much of a blind item if the only Emmy winning male on a soap that also plays a twin is David Canary.

This one is soo obvious... Who else could it be but David Canary. Only emmy-winning actor who plays twins. Plus with all of AMC's budget cuts and possibility of cancelation it makes the most sense. I can think of other character's who play duel roles but none play twins. But what's sad about this is that they're writing the character of Adam off the show, which is the better character and keeping the lesser twin Stuart on as recurring

I am 99.9% sure that you guys are all correct. However, that item could be interpreted in a slightly different way. It doesn't really have to mean that said actor already plays twins... it could be that the actor's Emmy winning character is being phased out but we'll see the actor playing a heretofore unseen twin (I know it is quite a stretch, but say Kim Zimmer's Reva takes a plunge and suddenly her mute twin sister Diva starts skulking around Peapack...)

Oh my God, poor David Canary! I really hope this isn't true, He is still an excellent actor and we *don't* need to lose another one of our vets so soon! If it is due to health reasons, than I really hope that David Canary is able to tkae tim to care of himself, but I really wish someone would come out and make a statment about his poor health.

I absolutely do NOT believe it's David Canary. Charles Pratt said he would be bringing Adam and Erica front and center again, as they should be, and he has been doing just that. I think #9 above has the right idea, that the actor will be phased out and replaced by an unknown twin.
However, this blind item really doesn't make sense...does creating a twin to accommodate the actor help him remember his lines? Wouldn't he still have the same problem?
