Have they missed the unemployment rates? According to E!, Ashely Jensen who plays Christina, Betty's (America Ferrara) best gal pal, has asked to be released.

Kristin goes on to drop another Betty Bombshell. She's also learned that another character is being killed off. Who is it? Not sure as Kristin's only clue is that the character who is dying just came aboard this season.

She was NOT happy about the move to NYC as she had just closed escrow on buying a house in Los Angeles and days later found out that they were moving the show to NYC. It's kind of been known to insiders that she was pissed and wanted off.

To comment on actors on ABC shows asking to be let go, I do not watch UGLY BETTY or GREY'S ANATOMY, but Ausiello reported that Melissa George has been asked to leave GREY's - her last work day is Tuesday.

Thanks for the UB scoop, Regan. It's one of my favorite mighttime shows. I'm sorry to see Ashely Jensen go, too. Betty needs a BFF and even though she and Amanda are roomies now, I like them best as frenemies. Betty needs a confidante other than her sister. It will be interesting to see who she turns to once Christina departs. As for who's being killed off, now you've got me wondering.

Ashley's leaving? That sucks. I *love* her character, in fact she's probably my favourite, and I'll miss her very much. However I can't really blame her as they haven't been using her very much.
