Gossip Girl: More Family for Nate?

Michael Ausiello has the exclusive scoop on a cousin hitting the Upper East Side. Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) is getting more family on the hit CW show. According to Ausiello, the role has yet to be cast but in true Gossip Girl fashion, we should be expecting a very good looking 20 something in the role. I'm sure gossip girl will have plenty to dish on the wealthy newbie as he's a married man and we all know that a little marriage never stops anyone on Gossip Girl.

Too bad, I was hoping that his absence on Monday's episode meant that he was no longer on the show...
He is very nice to look at, but the character was only tolerable when he was semi-dating Vanessa.

I like Nate... I missed him in the last episode. I wish they would have done more with him and Jenny.

Didn't miss Nate at all during last Monday. Sure he should have been with Chuck but Nate has no personality and together him and Vanessa are dull. The ONLY time I liked Nate is when he showed personality when he was upset that Chuck and Blair had hooked up. And that episode was from season 1!

Let's be honest there is only so much they can do w/ Nate and Jenny w/o Dateline having to intervene! After all those kisses they shared I'm sure Chace was thisclose to having to register as a sex offender!

Looks aren't everything when you can't act. He and Jenny had great chemistry but when it came to actual acting in their scenes she was doing all the heavy lifting.

I would love to see more of Nate and Jenny together. The actors do have chemistry and I can't stand Vanessa. Chace is a good actor, they just need to write an interesting storyline for Nate. I thought he was great in the Thanksgiving episode when Nate turned his father into the FBI.
