General Hospital Spoilers!
I got a snow day yesterday! I dropped some SCOOP in Tuesday's comments. Here they are in case you missed them:
Lulu and Sonny MAY be missing and POSSIBLY presumed dead. Johnny feels guilty. Kate goes off on Olivia and Carly of course doesn't believe he's dead. RUMORS have Claudia being the one to save Sonny. Could this be how Claudia's life is spared? Still hearing that Claudia's role is getting revealed and it COULD cause problems for JoLu. Remember, there are those RUMORS that Maxie and Johnny are getting a chem test. COULD this be FANFIC?
Winnie and Spin find out something ain't right with the FBI agents... not sure if this is something about Rayner or someone else. COULD this be how Winnie and Spin get chem tested?
Nazanin confirmed Leyla's death.
Trevor... still RUMORED to be kicking the bucket and admitting things as he goes. Will he and Anthony have one last talk that answers some of the unanswered? Johnny has been long RUMORED to really be Trevor's boy. But Trevor already has a son who pretty much hates his guts. Will Ric and Trevor find some peace before dear old dad departs?
Multiple explosions? Its GH ... one crisis is not enough.
RUMORS of Matt and Maxie scenes. More chem testing? They are really trying to see what sticks.
Elizabeth and Lucky will be sticking. There is no test, they are throwing these two back together like a 98 mph fast ball. It's insulting and pathetic.
NOW, Here's the Scoop! 01.29.09
I mentioned multiple explosions above... Are there more peeps missing when everything goes BOOM? Remember, Winnie is giving a rundown to her superiors and she mentions that they are not sure about who is in GH.
Slower than molasses? We've been going hour by painfully boring hour to tell the tale of the toxin's release. The LATEST WORD has the aftermath going by even slower.
Relaxed Quarantine? A section of the hospital is quarantined. This SHOULD include the Boardroom where the benefit is being held; the OR where Earl's operation was as well as a whole chunk of GH being used to treat those exposed and who have fallen ill. So while GH is under quarantine, those already affected and exposed will travel freely around that section of the hospital.
Nikolas saves Rebecca... A stranger comes to Lulu's aid (Ethan perhaps?)... Maxie declares her love for Spinelli... Jax is desperate to get to Carly.
Nikolas will see little glimpses of his dead fiancé. We all know it's the newbie Rebecca Shaw. When will they come face to face? Before anything can really happen, when they do finally "meet", an explosion occurs.
Speaking of the explosions... remember the OR on fire in the promo? It will be one of the sites of the explosions. Gas from the OR is spreading throughout the hospital igniting fires and causing explosions.
The DVD is missing? Kate goes armed with evidence to tell Sonny his wife is responsible for his kid's coma and she loses the DVD? In all fairness, Kate is going down due to the toxin before she gets the chance to tell Sonny what she knows but now RUMORS say Kate and Olivia will be looking for the lost DVD.
Throw it all at Patrick... he can handle it. Dr. Drake tried to stop the surgery, he'll be in charge of the crisis hitting GH, plus having to answer all of Rayner's questions... why not have him worried about his wife and daughter as well? Patrick gets a message from Robin that she is on her way to GH with a sick Emma. So now, Patty boy has to worry about his wife and child out in a blizzard too.
As we've already dished and you've already seen, Robin has some car trouble in route to the hospital. The LATEST has her leaving Emma in the car as she goes to get help. Maxie finds her cousin passed out in the snow and disoriented. Eventually the RUMORS say Robin and Emma along with Maxie and Johnny, make it to GH. Robin pitches in by helping with having patients transferred while Emma is taken to a safe part of the hospital. While Patrick is being questioned, does Robin go missing? One RUMOR has Robin missing after one of the explosions.
Will Anthony kill his daughter? Claudia is affected by the toxin and it looks like ZaCrazy MAY try to send his daughter away, permanently. She knows he shot Kate and his plan to work over Sonny. Is it Sonny who saves Claudia? It looks like Sonny chose the right time to visit his wife's room. If once you don't succeed, try, try again and Anthony does. Unfortunately for the crazy old man, he keeps getting interrupted. On his last attempt, Claudia saves herself by pressing the call button.
Does Trevor learn Anthony's other secret? It looks like Trevor finds out that ZaCrazy can walk! Will Trevor try to kill Anthony? It seems so as Trevor strangles ZaCrazy and once again it MAY be Claudia pressing that call button to save her father's life. Why?! Hasn't she gone to everyone she could think of begging them to kill her father? I mean kill two birds with one stone Claudia... let Trevor kill Anthony and then finger Trev as the murder. Your dad's dead and Trevor gets put away. That's a win-win in my book. Instead, Claudia tells her hubby about Anthony shooting Kate and just as Sonny is about to put the old man down, Jason stops him. Jason needs to turn Anthony into the feds to save Spin.
Are the feds criminals or just trying to quietly clean up their mess? They lost the toxin and needed Jason to track down Earl. Now, they have a major crisis happening because of all of it. Patrick doesn't trust Rayner either but he wants the toxic balls out of GH.

Thanks for the posts Regan. This may be one of the last times I read them. If this show puts LL2 together, I am done and will not watch anymore-seriously. It is pathetic. I still just don't understand if TPTB knows what a huge following Liason has, why would you just not give them a middle to their story. After hearing about the SALE event in Vegas this w/e, it is so apparent these two actors want this as well--WTF? I don't get it.
While this is not to insult Greg Vaughn, Lucky is so boring and the writers who write for him must think so too. Lucky had a chance of looking sexier to us fans when he was with Sam, but now they've gone ahead and trashed that too. Even if I was not the huge Liason fan that I am , I still would not want a LL2 reunion-been there, done that.
Here is my one thought of hope---could the rush be two lonely people that care about each other, but come to realize it really is that they are just BFF? The other day when Lucky and Sam ended, I took it as the writers left it some-what open-ended to reunite these two based on maybe fan response? Lucky seemed as though he wanted to try to work it out, and Sam seemed frustrated but not truly sure she was doing the right thing by walking away-she knows he's a good man. Also, I just got from what BH said at the SALE event that putting these two together will suck bc it will go down the same road as it did last time---Liz with Lucky until her and Jason start again...and we keep hearing about a Jake paternity outing (to the 3 people left in PC who don't know yet)...if that is true, what does that mean for Liason? ugh, so frustrated and REALLY done if LL2 reunite. Sorry to rant, and thanks for all your work Regan!

I totally agree that the rush of putting LL2 back together is completely insulting -- it is even more insulting then the way the exploded Liason years ago to put Jason with Courtney. I stopped watching then with only an occasional check-in and didn't watch regularly again until the NOP.
Now, I have stopped watching and am finding less and less reason to even catch scenes on YouTube. I started watching this show with my grandmother more than 30 years ago and it breaks my heart to realize that something that has been a part of my life for that long is not any longer yet I have the feeling that GH will be gone long before there is any reason to go back to it.

As much as I am a Liason Fan... I don't necessarily hate LL2. What I do hate is the warp speed they are throwing them back together. It's as if Jason, Jake and Sam never existed in either of their lives. I find that to be insulting to the fans.
When LL2 first reunited (after Elizabeth had Cameron) I was on board. Partly because Liason simply seemed to never be happening and I really like Greg Vaughn. I thought Liz and Lucky reconnecting at that time made sense.
What the writers have done to the character of Lucky is horrible. He is a SPENCER. But when you look at the other Spencers, I guess he's being treated equally. Lulu may get the screen time, but she's written like a spoiled brat who does nothing but shrew. I once liked Lulu, now, not so much. Luke, when T.G. is not on vacation, has been reduced to filler and the only way we see any of the Quartermaines. While I am happy he has re-signed with the show, I hope the writing for Luke improves and Tony is given a REAL storyline that fans can get behind. As the writing currently stands, do you blame the man for taking all his vacation time? I surely don't.
It makes you wonder.... are the Spencers the next Quartermaines? Bobbie is nowhere, Luke is a shell of his former self, Lulu is one of the most hated characters and they insist on making Lucky a complete idiot. Laura has been banished to France as TPTB can't seem to get their heads out of their asses long enough to see that they need to go on bended knee and beg Genie to come back for longer than 10 episodes.
But back to the horrible way they write Lucky... is something else going on? Once a part of a great love story at GH, Lucky Spencer is PC's version of Barney Fife. Why? Are these writers that hell bent on destroying the history of this show? IMO, Lucky has been on a downward spiral ever since Jonathan Jackson left the role. They had hopes for Jacob Young but that did not go as well as planned and it seems that Greg Vaughn has been treated as a space filler ever since he took the role. I know, I know, he got that druggie storyline (one I thought he rocked) but his own peers didn't recognize him for a pre-nom.

I'm with hopingforliason - this show has just about severed my last nerve.
As a SKate fan, I'm at my wits end. Claudia and AZ are going to get away with what they did to Sonny (and my girl Kate for that matter). It is a total joke and furthermore IMO it makes Sonny look like a total joke! He gets all bad ass on Karpov who did NOTHING and then when he is faced with the truth about AZ he walks away. Yeah, you're real tough Sonny. You couldn't just walk away when Kate asked you to? (Damm and after he goes and marries the Claw and loses Kate in the process) Give me a damm break!
Oh and now suddenly it's safe to reunite with Carly. Yeah, right why don't we just move Sonny and the boys right back in and go back to the good old days. Carly's crocidile tears are in the past, Michael and Morgan will be fine. It was Kate's fault in the first place right? Whatever! Totally not on board for this redo, redo, redo. Oh and boy doesn't this make Jax look good. Don't worry Carly's BFF, Olivia, will be there to pick up the pieces.
Liason fans. Newsflash - they are not going to reunite anytime soon, just forget it! I'm not saying its right, I'm just saying this show sucks and they don't care. I remember reading all the positive rumors surrounding this couple last spring and how the haunted star was going to blow up but there was going to be this cute little Liason wedding blah, blah, blah. Nothing! A bunch of empty promises.

Hi Regan, this is my take on the whole Liz/Lucky thing. The airheads at GH are going to do this to try and make the pairing of Jason and Scram more acceptable (Like that will ever happen). I'm sure it will go down as devastating to Scram and Jason, again to make the pairing more understandable (NOT). Poor Liz and Lucky will be thrown on the back burner and the story will go to Scram. It is really sad to say but that's what GH and TPTB think of us viewers, they really think we are that stupid, just to move on. It's very insulting, i'm glad i'm no longer watching and GH is not on my DVR anymore. I read so many recaps of SALE, Becky and Steve are 2 great actors who really enjoy each and would give us a great love story to watch. GH has lost a gold mine but they don't seem to care, it's still very painful as a viewer and fan of Liason.

I loved the updates but no mention of my girl Sam
I guess my take on everything is that for me GH is an escape. I like everything it has to offer (even though I cringed everytime Liason was together) because it is so not mirroring what's going on in my real world.
Everyone keeps talking about how disgusted they are with the way they break up couples and bring them back together again but isn't that what soaps do?
There are a lot of super couples who have been busted up and brought back together even stronger. So even though I can not stand Liason please don't loose hope because just like the weather, if you don't like it wait for awhile and it will change.

Why do they keep insisting on testing Maxie with new character to see what "sticks"? The results are in and just about everybody would be happy to see Maxie and Spinelli finally end up together. So because they are a compelling couple with a good storyline, they insist on putting her with Dr. Useless (Matt) or Johnny?
Also, I"m on board to see Sam and Jason get back together, but the speedy way they are forcing Lucky and Liz back together is just ridiculous. And could it be any less obvious that Lucky in a hot tub with Sam half naked and he says "Oh Elizabeth." As a guy, I'm insulted that they'd make us look so stupid to say something that obvious! LOL

I just read a reminder of how Frons regards us "few online crazies" and how audiences can be manipulated into loving a character they formerly hated. Sure we can. Witness the redemption of Maxie. But that instance was a near total rewrite of a character at the expense of another character, ie Georgie, who had to die to give Maxie those great scenes at the funeral. Frons hasn't managed to make us like Claudia despite the actress. Nor has he made us embrace Lulu and Johnny.
Mr. Frons can take his insults to viewers and shove them where the sun don't shine because that is where is head is. Maybe when he is standing in the unemployment line he'll "get it", but don't count on it.
I watch very little programming from ABC and when GH goes that will be even less that I watch from that network.

i love sam.
jason can be a giant tool, sometimes i don't know why i want him with anyone.
i'm with morningstar. lucky and liz will break up and realize they're better as friends, they fell back to the familiar, they are just there for the boys, blah, blah, blah. i highly doubt they will be together for more than a month before they're broken up again. same will probably happen to sam and jason.
how about they hook lucky up with claudia - that might be fun.
i'm also with dr house: why do they keep putting maxie with other people. we know maxie and johnny are hot together, we love spinelli with maxie, and matt and maxie are a dud for me. maxie is and should be with spinelli - why all the random matchups?

Spixie should just remain great friends I think they r better that way I think the dynamic would be ruined if they became a couple
Let Spinelli find someone who really cares for him and wants to be with him instead of having him pinning after these other women that just see him as a friend
Let the TIIC get LnL2 and JaSpam out of their system , Hopefully Frons, Phelps, Guza will all be fired and than some new blood can bring Liason and PluSpam back together.

The only thing I saw on Sam out there in the soap online atmosphere is that when sonny plays possum, Jason and Sam will both know he is alive. This is interesting, because Jason knowing sonny was okay and lying to the world about it was a bone of contention with Jiz at one point if I have my history right.
Lizard and Lucky getting together is like Jiz never happened and I for one couldnt be happier. I think we will get a regime change sooner rather than later at gh and if we do, I want the characters so far broken apart and jake being really Lucky's so that this pair never reunites. Kind of like the did to Jarly. *************************************************

Regan, I am so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who feels like this crisis is moving slower than molasses in winter.
I swear, if I have to watch that damned montage ONE more time, I'M going to ingest those toxic balls and drown myself in Sam's hot tub!
Regan, any news on how long Winifred is going to stick around? I really think it's time TPTB poop or get off the pot when it comes to Spixie - I am getting bored with the one-sided love thing, especially since Maxie isn't even really paired with anyone else - she's just oblivious.

Did Frons or Guza have some kind of bad experience with the cops that they have to write every single law enforcement character as either stupid or evil while the murderers, smugglers and assorted crime lords are put on a pedestal of adulation?
I'm beginning to wonder if they've got some racketeering jobs on the side ... what with their obvious disrespect for the law.

Yes I am a Liason fan, do I understand LL2 re-do..yes but not the way the writers do it. We are suppose to believe that Jason is protecting Liz and Jake, but in the same breathe does that mean he doesn't really care about Carly and Morgan, or for tha matter Sam. I mean in the real world wouldn't Jason be compelled to protect all that he loves. Like everyone has pointed out there are like 3 people in Port Charles that don't know Jake is Jason's so wouldn't protection be better suited with him.
Maxie and Spinelli are another pair that should be just friends, (ie Jason & Carly). I have always loved Maxie especially the minute KS took over the role, and I hated her as Belle. She has had chemistry with all of her leading men, there are times I wish she was old enough for Jason (I give the writers a few more yrs before that happens). With that said she has this fire that comes out when she is with Johnny, something that LooLoo doesn't have with him. In fact, I think LooLoo has had chemistry briefly with Logan, and I could never understand the writers need to "must love LooLoo" chem testing they do.
I for one will deal with my Liason love the same way I took it the first time Courtney showed up and was the flavor of the month, with lots of FF. The only thing that will make me forever turn off my DVR is if TIIC make Jake Lucky's son.
In the end I know this is a Soap and as much as JaSam fans are happy now, the result will be the same for all Soap couples...breakup. I just prayer a little more hoping the ratings continue to dive, possibly making it a reality that the supreme idiot in charge FRONS is canned.

From what I have read, there is a lockdown on spoilers for this crisis. Yet, we keep seeing spoilers. As for not much on Sam, I can only assume there is a story..but it's hush. I believe if I'm reading "between the lines", she is involved in the death of Trevor and will be on trial for murder. I could be way off base, but it's like a puzzle putting it together. Also, there was a rumor about Sam losing her memory. Maybe the hit on the head she got from this car accident will come out down the road, and she will develop amnesia. Who knows? This soap is such a mess. I am enjoying the Scrubs s/l, and I think it'll only get better and better. I'm sure Kelly Mc is loving the acting opportunity...and Jason T. is doing a great job.

I sort of agree about Spixie... Love them as besties and I just know TPTB won't go there as anything more. They know there are fans rooting for them and instead of indulging the fans, TIIC rather play with our emotions. So instead, I have decided to love them as friends and not get my hopes up.
I am FULLY AWARE that in the soap world,couples break up and make up down the road. I am like many Liason fans who have liked them since Jason was shot and bleeding in the snow. I loved them then, dealt with CourtHO, the fake marriage to Brenda and then Sam. I kept my Liason dreams alive with the aid of FanFic. I also know there is FAR MORE wrong with this show than Liason not being together.

Oh samfan, I have to say, even though this wouldn't be original storytelling I would love it! Jason's Amnesia 2.0 was one of my favorite JaSam stories!! I loved it and thought it was super romantic! So the idea of Sam having amnesia and that being the thing that brings them together again, would be great
I know it probably won't happen (I still don't believe a JaSam reunion is happening) but I can dream

what i find quite amusing about the whole sam/jason vs liz/jason is that pretty much both sides are mad at the same regime for dismantling their favorite couple. i mean, sam lovers thought the jason/sam breakup was forced and out of character and the whole liz thing was rushed and also out of character. the liz fans now feel the same way.
i don't mean to rehash the whole debate, just that it's odd the same people who did one storyline are now doing the exact opposite - changing their own minds. silly and dumb. although, personally my favorites are getting more airtime, whether as friends or not, it just doesn't make sense to me that the same people are writing this.

True blackjack, much of what liason fans are writing is similar to the things JaSam fans wrote.
While I'm horribly disappointed in what they've done with LuSam, at least they're writing Sam in character now. And deciding to make her a PI - YAY!! Maybe they do *sometimes* listen to fans!
That said, as a Sam fan, and after living through the Quad From H*ll debacle, I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop.

SCOOP... Jax is on the outside and SHOULD be the one telling Robin, Maxie and Johnny what's going on when the trio and baby Emma make it to GH.
Maxie wants to be with Spin and Johnny wants to get to Lulu.
FANFIC or SPOILER? Michael awakening has been out there for a bit now. Will Robin and Patrick be the one to wake him? Is this really a new storyline or a re-do of LS-49?
Rayner wants answers but he's not so good at sharing himself.

As for info being on "lock down"... it's typical of GH to try and plug up holes. I am sure there are things that have not been leaked, but not everything is under lock and key.

Thanks Regan for your spoilers and comments. I really tried so hard to watch GH yesterday but after the first 15min. I had to shut it off. Reading all the spoilers about LL2, just does not sit right with me. Makes no sense at all. The whole show makes no sense at all.
I read what the fans said at the SALE and what Steve/ Becky said as well, they are also disappointed in the way the writters handled everything with their story. I called the comment line again to complain but nicely.
They mentioned at the show they showed a video that was made of the whole history of Liason and I heard it was really good. Anyway of finding it and showing it Regan? We Liason fans could sure use some happy momments. Thanks as always.
