Deidre Hall Talks About Her Days Exit
By Mike Jubinville on January 10, 2009

On her website Deidrehall.com, Deidre Hall opens up her December '08 video chat, which is usually reserved for fan club members, to everyone and spends an hour answering fan questions. She gave praise to Jeff Zucker, President and CEO of NBC, discussed a "raucous" Halloween party and revealed some things that only a Q&A session can.

The most emotional elements of the video came when she discussed her exit and what she will miss most about her 32 years as the iconic Dr. Marlena Evans. Her last tape date was December 16 and her jewel box of a dressing room has since been cleaned out. Although she was careful about not revealing too much information, she did state that John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena's last airdate is January 23. If you want to know more, more, more about Hall, her goodbyes and her future plans, follow the link and watch the video HERE.

It's fun to hear her say "@$$hole" in the third video!
I don't watch Days anymore, but I will tune in on the 23rd for the final episode I ever watch. I have a feeling their exit will be similar to Carrie and Austin's, with a done-in-one-wedding followed by a beeline to the airport.
What a travesty. This firing is so sad.

An amazing woman who will be missed on Daytime. Hopefully, she will join a show that will appreciate her talents and contributions.
She is the reason I started watching DAYS in the early 80's. Now that Dee is not on DAYS, I really see no reason to ever tune in again.
I would love for her to join Y&R. She would also be great on OLTL, but there are too many strong female leads to give Dee the attentions she deserves.
Dee rocks, what a mistake for DAYS and NBC to allow her to be written off. They should have gotten rid of half the newer people, and focused the whole show on Marlena, John, Kayla, Patch, Bo, and Hope. Everything else is just filler.
I guess Days will be on for another 18 months, then limp off the air.
Oh well, everyone needs to tune into OLTL for a show that respects their vets, and features women in their 40/50/60's in front burner storylines.

Ugh, I'm so depressed... I've been watching DAYS for 20+ years and I adore Diedre and Drake. It won't be the same without them
I suspect the plan is to bring them back after a few months, but I'm so sick of DAYS jerking my chain.
DAYS has gone through low points before (Austin and Greta's Garden of Eden adventure for instance) but the show is almost totally unwatchable now

I'll admit I'm not the biggest John and Marlena fan, but I just can't believe this is happening.

Thanks for sharing. Deidre Hall has always been a class act. Used to check in with DOOL once in a while and Marlena and John were always two of the best. Once Sami's twins we're declared to have two seperate fathers - I was done. Now they boot Marlena/John - I'll never go back to watch.

Deidre stated in the video that it was a final exit story. I really hope that they find other things so they can say, "No Thanks Ken, screw you!"

Yeah, de-aged and played by Molly Burnett and Darin Brooks!
