Is it really true? Days of Our Lives is treating us to a week of John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) flashbacks (I hope they found the good ones) and their hospital bedside wedding? Awww.... count me in! Can someone pass me the tissues please...

Hey I like this wedding alot more then the quickie one with Carrie/Austin.
Yes I am tuning in and this is just a bet but that is the most misleading promo ever lol. I don't think NBC would be as nice as to give us a real week to say good-bye

Yes, I will be watching, but I have two objections. First, John completely paralyzed, I think is crazy and doesn't add anything to the story, but detracts from it. The other is how fast they rushed the story.

Although I'm expecting to be dissatisfied w/Dena's send off - Really? John's paralyzed? Hospital wedding? Way to honor the legacy of these characters with a creative exit story, Dena.

I saw this yesterday (I'm a Canadian!)and (I'm watching it again) just wanted the whole episode to have been about them. Marlena's cavilier attitude towards Sami was just wrong. This could've been done so much better, Ken Corday. We the fans and Drake n Dee deserve better. Although the flashbacks were great they only lasted a day (not a whole week). You could've devoted an entire episode to them. You've done stand alone episodes with Nicole, why not John n Marlena? And the fact that Bo n Hope weren't there was just wrong. I can understand why Roman was there (as Sami's father) but for Bo not to say goodbye to man he thought of as a brother? Wrong! And poor Josh Taylor looked so uncomfortable. I know he and Dee are firends and this was hard for him. And where was Abe? Did Marlena not say she was going to call everyone? Not right. I cried along with John and was left wanting more. Having Stefano watch "the wedding" through the window and John seeing him was one of the few things they got right. I will still continue to watch because of my other couples Bo n Hope, Steve n Kayla but not everyday. Thank you Dee n Drake for all the joy you've given your fans. We will always love you. I know this is a common state of affairs with soaps these day but it's still difficult for fans to watch. Ok! I've done venting now!
