Glad the show had the presence of mind to SORAS Abby since they did it with Noah.
Question: on Days, weren't Shawn and Belle born five years apart but still were the same age by the time they were in high school?

Shawn-D was born in '87, then Belle came along in '93. They were both SORASSED in '99 to be the same age...
This news about Abby seems cool. I just hope the child can act somewhat. They can officially drop that Carlton from her name, especially since the pool boy will be biting it soon...

Although SORASing the character is appropriate, I will miss Darcy Rose as Abby. I loved how she overheard Jack and Ji-Min talking about how Jack secretly owned Jabot, then she quite inadvertently spilled the beans to Victor, re-enacting the conversation for him.
Brad was always good with her in scenes, too. I see her in a lot of commercials and, I believe, that she was voted as the Screen Actors' Guild child actor of the year in 2007.

She looks good and seems to have at least a little bit of experience at acting, I am fed up with actor wannabee getting their experience at my expense!
But i will miss Darcy Rose as Abby, she is a great actress and I am sure she will have a great career!
I will wait and see!

mrbrooksgenoacitynews... I am glad they are using a fourteeen year old for the role of Abby. I noticed the new Eden must be almost 25! I swear I saw grey hairs on Edens head yesterday!

Oh Days and that SORASing was awfl. Abby Deveraux was born YEARS before Belle or Philip and she is now younger. Also Shawn Douglas was born before Brady! LOL

I just pray that this girl has some acting chops, b/c I would hate for another young girl character w/potential to be water down by a bad actress. I did a Wishful Casting over at Goldderby for this character w/Ashley Benson (ex-Abby, Days), hopefully she'll end up as the newSerena Baldwin if they were casting for that.

I wish they wouldve let actress grow instead of SORASing her like the girl who plays Starr Manning on OLTL.
I liked it when Abby re-enacted the Jack/Ji-Min conversation: "...and then uncle jack said, "I own Jabot!!". lol that was great.
I'm curious what storylines they will involve her in.
The new Eden has annoyed me ever since she was Lukes daughter on Gilmore Girls.

She overheard her Uncle Jackass spouting off like an idiot and told her bio dad what she knew because she thought it was funny -- just like every other little kid in the world does; and it moved the plot along. And it was two or three years ago.

Scout if I wanna joke about Abby being in grown folks business I'll keep on doing so. Seasons you are soo true on Ashley and Abby... I know some won't like it but they really need to fix that- Abby being Victor's kid. I would LOVE for it to be some other guy's baby... Yeah I went there! *LOL* Its just so crazy and Ashley just gets a lil pep talk from Victor for that mess?!
