We're hearing a certain soap star, who may or may not still be with the soap that made him or her famous, is reportedly none-too-pleased that their contract talks were made public after the star in question was assured the details of their negotiations would remain silent– no matter the outcome. The star is said to feel "humilated and betrayed" and is "livid" at the member of the network brass who blabbed.

The person that comes to mind to me is Susan Lucci. Wasn't it leaked that she had to take like a 30% paycut? I could see her feeling humiliated and betrayed that that information was revealed. No one likes something like that known, especially one of the queen bees of daytime tv.

"...who may or may not still be with the soap that made him or her famous" is the key phrase. There's been no talk of Lucci leaving AMC, so it's likely Bernard or Burton.

What about Eric Braedon? News is out that they even put out a casting call for a "kind of" replacement for him named Tucker. I remember the man at least used to have a huge ego, IMHO. He refused to go to the daytime Emmy's in NY one year, apparently, because the network execs wouldn't send him there in a private jet. Does anyone else remember that?
