Here's the Scoop! 11.26.08
Sweeps... It's winding down. Was anyone impressed? FYI... Sweeps is over as of today.
More drama for Sonny and Jason... Jason does not want Sonny's help finding Jake.
Patrick and Robin... They'll be good friends to Elizabeth. RUMORS have Patrick stopping by to check on her and staying to watch Cameron while Elizabeth takes care of some things. Lucky gets there and Patrick tells him Elizabeth went to her studio. According to these RUMORS this will be after Elizabeth confronts Sasha at the PCPD. She's RUMORED to leave there and head to her studio where she trashes the place in frustration. Scoop on the new parents... it looks like there will be more of Patrick as super dad and Robin as a mom who can't seem to get a handle on her newborn. I dropped possible post partum for Robin yesterday.
Liason & LuSam... I've been losing my faith that Liason comes out the other side of all this in one piece. Some more angst, some good scenes and most likely an ending. LuSam SHOULD be better off for the immediate future BUT there is still that pesky JaSam reunion we keep hearing about.
JaSam in the cave... It's an explosion that has them trapped. Sam MAY be talking about Jake's Kidnapping 1.0 while in the cave, Jason MAY not want to hear it.
More on Jake... Explosion? Another one COULD be happening at the cabin where Jake is being held.
Spixie Babysits! It looks like Maxie and Spinelli take care of Baby Emma. While I love this as it will no doubt be cute, shouldn't Spinelli be helping Jason locate his son? RUMORS have Jason not wanting help from anyone but it still looks like Sam will be his sidekick.
March Sweeps... Remember, February Sweeps is now March Sweeps and with the way time flies, it's right around the corner. Some preliminary info is being dropped. Possible deaths, more mob... Basically the same shit, different month.
RANDOM and CRAZY... Liason says goodbye with Jason giving Elizabeth money for the boys. Alexis' girls are getting dusted off too. More Diane and Max. Another brief Quartermaine family appearance. Sad, but most likely true, no Luke - Robert interaction when Robert returns for the wedding.
HAPPY TURKEY DAY! Remember I'm taking tomorrow off for my new baby cousin's birth! Turkey Day is an off day as well and I will do my best to fill you up on Scoops on Friday. Everyone have a safe and healthy holiday!

Early congrats on the new family member! Happy Thanksgiving.
As far as sweeps is concerned - in the end - a total pile of crap IMO. Leaving us once again with a bundle of empty promises. SKate and Liason will all but be done as it concludes (clearly not what many fans wanted to see happen). Sonny is once again up to his eyeballs in the mob, no thanks. A child is again an innocent victim of Guza's mob madness...lame.
Hugely disappointed. I watch because I became a huge Kate Howard fan and I love Kate with Sonny but I would be cool with Kate and Jax especially given the hot kiss of yesterday but I'm not cool with Jax going out of town and Kate left the odd woman out. Olivia, that wannabe, 80s retread, hypocrite is just waiting in the sidelines bugging into everyones business ready to take Kate's place. What the heck is she still in town for anyway? whatever. GH blows.

In true Guza fashion we have the sweeps shoot-a-thon. I am really getting sick of Jason double barreling in slow motion. The more important storylines have all gone bye-bye and now only the daytime mafia mess remains. Most writers in any media realize that in hard financial times viewers, readers, etc. want fantasy, wealth and warm fuzzy moments. We are NOT getting these storylines at all. I never ever thought I would say this as I am a big Bernard/Burton fan, but I think they need to go. Ouch that hurts, but my favorite show has become OLTL, watch it, the writing is fab.

I do hope that Elizabeth turns down money from Jason, it is mob money after all. Let's be consistent here. Unless she takes his money and leaves town forever, it makes no sense. Not that much does these sweeps.
So much for any paternity reveal for the dwindling Qs.
It seems as if GH has really missed the boat with all viewers. I think Liason fans are just one of the many fan bases being smacked down this holiday season, it's well beyone a let down.
One thing I read Regan was that the kidnapping story was fluff to get through the sweeps once Guza took the heat off himself to deliver anything good, did you you hear anything about that?

A lot of couples are biting the dust recently. Sonny and Kate, Jason and Liz (I am assuming this to be true), and Carly and Jax. I only hope that they don't break up Luke and Tracy. I would be really pissed then! I feel like the only awesome couple right now is Robin and Patrick. Where's the lovin'!?!
I am ok with Robin having trouble adjusting to motherhood. It happens to a lot of women, especially the feeling of being overwhelmed. I would also be happy to see a post-pardum depression story line too.

I understand Liz taking the money would look suspicious. Why would a man give a woman money for her and her children if he wasn't in someway related to one of the children but when you got two little ravenous mouths to feed money is money. Regardless, of where it came from Jason is Jake's father and he needs to pay up! He could give her the money in a very hush-hush way so that no one would know.

Where the heck is the big suprise ending to Sweeps that Guza said had never been done before??? Are we supposed to have seen that already, are we gonna see that or was this just another empty promise?
LIASON have been "ended" how many times now? Will they ever be over? As a fan, I hope not. I think this just calls for more writing, calling, and commenting...Thanks Regan for the scoops!

Regan, I did get an email from someone who said Steve's PA was rescheduled. I'm thinking this is true as we haven't heard anything. I thought yesterdays show was the worse thing ever, seeing those 2 little boys victims like that, and after that episode I agree Liason is done. What mother would ever do that to her childeren again for the sake of love. I can't imagine how GH thinks trash like this is ratings, very sad. I will not be watching, I have cried enough with Liason and all the goodbyes hopeing for a nice ending, don't need to do that again. Jason is suppose to be Guza's baby and favorite, could have fooled me as that is what he once again is making Jason look like, he will get the nasty remarks fron Yucky again, oh joy. Everything is Jason's fault, started with Alexis yesterday. God bless your new baby, nice to have something to look forward to, that's what we used to watch our soap for LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON.

Wow - I can't believe what we have been watching was supposed to be "sweeps!" Was I in a coma like Michael b/c I saw NOTHING of value emerge from aside from the Scrubs wedding. I would say that all the drama (spirited debating) on this site/thread has been more sweep-esque than Guza's crap.
Regan, I don't recall you saying that a JaSam reunion was rumored. Was it under your "Random and Crazy" section?
OT: If anyone watched Heores last night, can I tell you how much my heart began to sing when I saw Claire flatline? Please die...

samrocks, you're talking about the preview for the next Heroes, right? I DVR'ed last night's episode but I did see the preview of her flatlining and her mother crying. I'm not a fan of Claire but I know they aren't going to kill her. This show rarely kills anybody any more. The whole they died but now they're alive mess is getting tiresome. But if there is a kill Claire petition then my signature would be right at the top! LOL!

Not a stupid question, and it does indeed stand for personal appearance.
While I certainly enjoyed having Laura back onscreen for a few days, and I'm impressed GH once again supressed the urge to throw a silly sweeps stunt this month, it's pretty obvious this creative team doesn't have much left in them. Jake getting kidnapped again? Another mob war? Sonny with yet another kid? ABCD is truly starting to define insanity as they keep doing the same thing over and over and keep expecting a different result.
And nycdancer, I read that Guza postponed his thing no one's ever seen before until later because he just had SOOOO many great things going on, he couldn't possibly fit it in. We'll see.

Happy Thanksgiving Regan and everyone else on the board. Have a wonderful day tomorrow and congradulations. Ok, about the show, I am sorry but I am not giving up on Liason. We waited this long and I will wait alittle longer. Alot of other rumors out there say that we should be patient that they hear us complaining so I am going to be patient and when things look bad, I am still going to wait because I believe that they are going to get these two together yet. I feel that they are just teasing us, giving us all the Jasam scenes to boos ratings which I think is not working anyway but I beleive come the new year, our couple will get their story for the new sweeps. I will not give up and you shouldn't either Regan. You know as well as we do, alot of rumors and not everyone really knows what is going to happen, things change from day to day. Hang in there Liason fans because I am.
