Well I struggled between "Don't care" and "Lie and Scheme" but I ended up picking "Lie and Scheme" This should make for some good drama, and Nicole is always better as a biatch - I just never bought her as a weepy victim (though I have to admit, I do feel sorry for her because of the miscarriage).

And when EJ finds out the truth - Watch Out!!! Ooooh this could be good!

This is the let's screw-over Nicole storyline. I feel bad for her fans, because this was a waste storyline that looks like the only aim is to ruin the character.

I agree snowi, she's ruining so many characters, I've lost count. For that reason, it's a tough choice between I don't care and lie and scheme, because I have feeling Dena won't give us fun scheming Nicole but rather crying in the corner every 5 minutes in between lies Nicole, just to keep her all victimy instead. So, I voted for I don't care, because while i would love to see Nicole lying and scheming, god knows I cannot handle crying or whining! Why Higley thinks we want to see our favourite schemers whining and crying all the time is beyond me! WTH kind of woman is she, writing my favourite female characters like this anyway?! I think Days fans need to start a Bring the Scheming back to Schemers campaign!

How about a little character development? I've never seen a show that doesn't do character development.

From January until now, none of the show's characters have grown or regressed. That requires a proper process that takes viewers along with gradual character changes. Step by step, we're supposed to see it.

No. These characters just change. We don't see the rise of love or hate, passion or dissatisfaction.

We don't understand what anyone is thinking, their frame of mind.

Because its all just written in. The actors are not spokes. They've become robots for executive amusement.

TPTB tell them: Pick an emotion, pick a characteristic and play it today. Tomorrow that may change.

Thanks Brooke! My response is basically I could care less what Nicole does. The next time I care what this annoying character does will be the first time I care what she does. Regardless, it will end up being a crappily handled storyline anyway. Dena's trying to force the audience into feeling sympathy for her pet character. Nice try Dena, you still suck!

I really could not care less what Nicole does. The character presently onscreen is NOT Nicole. This one is a waste of skin. She was lots more fun drunk, snarky and having to pay for her sins. The vulnerability was warrented then. This husband-stealing, manipulative, gold-digging skank who did it in an elevator but now wants to play St. Madonna is a bore. And the "miracle" baby is beyond rewritten history. I suppose this writer's Nicole will now spit out children like quarters out of a slot machine during a payout.

But then, it is hard to think of many characters onscreen at present who seem like themselves. Newbies don't count, unless you want to shoot the tv for having to see them 24/7. By the way Nicole could use a little screentime rest as well.

I'd almost be willing to bet they are setting this up to have Sami's baby stolen...which is, you have to admit, classic soap storytelling. Granted just because it is "classic soap" doesn't mean the storytelling will be good.

So Nicole would kidnap Sami's baby and pass it off as her own? But how could they ever redeem Nicole after that? There is a karma element to it - since years ago Sami kidnapped baby Belle

I agree daisy. Can anybody say Kristen? That was a great story (went on too long though) but there was no coming back for Kristen after that. I really hope we don't get a baby switch story. That would just be too painful to watch.

Dena fracks up everything she touches. Why would this be any different?
