Jillian, thanks for posting the promo, however I have to comment about your comment about Karma coming to Phyllis.

Please keep in mind (yes I am a phick fan) that Phyllis didn't break up Nick and Sharon, Nick and Sharon broke up Nick and Sharon. The divorce was very much mutual and Nick was not the only party in that marriage to have affairs.

Now if you are referring to Karma and the paternity, well you have hit the nail on the head. Unfortunatel,y I believe that Phyllis is going to be in for a very wild ride in the next few months. She is going to have the tables turned on her with the paternity of Summer.

There has to be a reason why Danny Romalotti is coming back to GC and I think it has to do with the story about to blow wide open. I think Nick hid the truth from everybody about Summer's paternity. It ultimately resulted in the ending of his marriage to Sharon (his choice by the way) and will have HUGE effects on every character in this storyline! Especially Phyllis. I think she will be blamed at first because nobody will want to believe that Nick could do such a thing, but in the end Nick will do the right thing (as he always does) and fess up to his deception.

I am a fairly new viewer to Y&R and I have seen all the eppys from the start of the affair to now very recently! If you have not watched in awhile, I suggest going back, because if Y&R is true to it's history, lots happened in those old eppys that a lot of fans are overlooking regarding the upcoming storylines for the quad! I keep seeing comments on message boards and websites that have me scratching my head and saying "don't they remember what happened?". The reason I say that is because some the people who post messages have some pretty biased points of view just because of their fan base loyalty. Yes I am loyal too, but I see my POV as more open minded as I am not nearly as invested in the couples or characters on the show. I happen to enjoy the whole show and sometimes I feel like people are watching a different show when they make comments on boards.

Question: Why would Nick lie about the paternity of Summer? It has to go deeper than him missing Cassie. I don't think he would hurt so many people even further by lying.

I am a long time watcher of Y&R and a long time Phyllis fan, and she is no more to blame than Nick is, but yes she contributed. It takes two, always! She had no respect for Sharon marriage, and the fact that she just lost her child.

Phyllis takes what Phyllis wants, and that is why she is one of the best bad Girl Y&R ever had.

What I found more horrible than having an affair with Nick, was Phyllis breaking bread at Sharon's table, who just lost her child, while having an affair with her husband. THAT for me was despicable!

In order for her marriage to Nick to stick, Phyllis has become a pod and has buried at least 75% of who she really is, the only guys that knows and love the real Phyllis, are Michael and Jack.

I always love the real clever scheming, independent Phyllis, not this weak, high school half bake scheming, stepfford wife she became.

I really am looking forward to watch the real Phyllis again, this version is boring like hell, and I would have bet that it was impossible to make Phyllis boring, but they achieve that one!

I am a Phyllis fan through thick and thin, always have been always will be, Karma would be everyone realizing that Sharon is not some helpless girl that she pretends to be, she is a seasoned adultress, the thing that annoys the heck out of me is that she is the teflon queen she sleeps and cheats and is forgiven, oh my god she plays the helpless to perfection and that is why I adore Phyllis never perfect, capable of mistakes, her own worst enemy at time and she makes it work. Karma would be for Nick to realize he has the best thing going, and for Phyllis to stop apologizing for what she feels.

She has been patient long enough, holding back her thoughts and feeling, I say you go Red, and as for Summer not been a Newman, then it would be something NIck did to keep and stay in Phyllis life. As for Danny coming back, maybe he is coming back to help his son who seems to not know what he wants in life, what big reveal does Danny have about Phyllis other than contact 20 years ago, the only thing he can tell people is that Phyllis is not the same person she was all those years ago

As for Phyllis breaking up Nick's marriage to Sharon, it takes two and it both Nick and Sharon that added to the demise of said marriage.
Phyllis did not want to stay for dinner, Nick invited her, she was uncomfortable and wanted to leave again it was Nick, Noah and Daniel convinced her to stay. And also if Sharon had not stopped to lend a comforting hand to Brad, she might have been home in time to stop Nick from inviting Phyllis to dinner.

So karma would be Nick finally realizing that Sharon is great ex-wife and he has the best thing going for him in Phyllis

Hopefully the beginning of the end of Phick and Shack. Fan of whatever or not, these two couples are just in need to be broken up.

Oh and it's weird to see every Phyllis fan defending her actions, even through nobody here said a thing against her actions.

soapjunkie, I guess the same could be said about Sharon. Again, I see it a different way! Fans of a certain character or fanbase tend to defend or see only their POV in favor of their faves (characters or couple).

The truth is all of the characters on the show do WRONGS...it is why it is a soap opera! It is so funny when I see people defending the actions of these characters, because their actions are indefensable. It takes two to make and argument happen.

Phyllis has done wrong, but so has Jack, Nick, and Sharon. I find it really funny that fans are really quick to come to Sharon's defense like she is so "fragile and sweet and good"...come on, she participates in the mudslinging with Phyllis as much as Phyllis does it to her. One or the other of them always starts it with the other. In one eppy it will be Phyllis who starts it and then in another it will be Sharon.

So as a huge Phyllis fan...I don't need to point out her wrongs, she does wrong and I know it! It doesn't make me like her character any less...I happen to like how strong, funny, outrageous, and appropriately vulnerable her character can be... But I certainly do not have rose colored glasses on about what misdeeds the character is cabable of doing.

and Timepass...again, I don't know how you can say what Phyllis did was dispicable either, were you watching the same show? Seriously! Nick, Sharon, Daniel, and Noah all convinced Phyllis to stay after multiple no's by Phyllis, she was uncomfortable about the situation and wanted to leave on multiple occasions, but like any person out there, she was trying to not be obvious about saying no as she didn't want to bring attention to why she was saying no. She was trying not to be obvious about the attraction she and Nick were feeling for each other at the time and was in an impossible situation.

This is a soap opera! All the characters are set up to do wrong things to create impossibly complex situations for entertainment value. I take it all with a grain of salt and I happen to just enjoy the show overall!

I am a Phick fan, but I am not disillusioned into believing something that isn't happening. I watched today's canadian eppy online and I was disappointed by Nick calling Sharon "Sharon Newman". I do agree with the Shick fans that he and Sharon both are showing that they are beginning to allow their old feeling to resurface.

But, I am still hopeful that it is just a bump in the road for my couple and all will turn out okay. But, that by no means implies that I believe it will actually turn out that way. I am not saying that I think Shick will happen again either. I don't know that and neither do any of the Shick or Phick fans. We don't know that for a reason. The show wants us to watch, they are not going to tell us for sure that they will or will not get back together again. Please, everybody who reads this post, keep that mind when you are defending or slamming a character or couple.
