the top of the dress looks good, but IMO, there's too much design going on at the bottom.

She is Alexis Carrington Colby! This woman can wear anything. Always could, always should. Laughing out loud

I still think of Jamey saying "I've got all the stock in Denver Carrington Blake!"

Too funny

Well, Joan can wear whatever the hell she wants because it's JOAN, y'all. And at least she's consistent with the 80s stylings of that outfit. But it does look like something DWTS would give to Cloris Leachman if she were doing a Ballroom-standard Bellydance.

She looks like a big brown mermaid. Hate it.

From the waist up is fine and the train from the knees down is okay, but from the waist to the knees, not so much. If that "thing" weren't there, it would be okay. I also think she looks great for her age, but she needs to stop with the plastic surgery, NOW! Facial expressions are a GOOD thing, Joan!

She carries it off, only because IMO Joan Collins can carry pretty much anything off (except those Bob Mackie things Cher used to wear, which no one could carry off.)

It looks like that dress was made out of theatre draperies.

I agree with those who have said that on her, it works. On me and most other plebeians, it would look like an overly adorned lampshade or draperies, but Joan Collins can work it. I cannot imagine her wearing something simple and non-sparkly.
