Who do I have to catch in a bear trap to get Hunt Block back in this role?????

Well, on the bright side, I would never speak ill of Goutman again if Lynn Herring was cast as Sierra.

This is intriguing. It'll be interesting to see what he brings to the table as Craig and who he will be paired with. Didn't he and the woman that plays Meg play opposite each other on Port Charles?

No, he actually played opposite the woman who plays Juicy Janet. Kevin and Eve were lovers and later married.

Oh, yeah I remember now but the woman who plays Meg was on PC, right? Wasn't she Karen or somebody? Craig and Janet could be hot, especially, if they have Jack and Carly get back together.

Marie Wilson, who plays Meg, was Karen #2 on Port Charles. IIRC, she was paired with Jay Pickett for a while, don't remember who else.

I'm still trying to figure out the thought process that went into Scott Bryce's being fired last winter. He was the first Craig, and IMO the best. Having said that, I love Jon Lindstrom, and the idea of a possible reunion with Julie Pinson makes me giddy. I loved Kevin and Eve, and I'm still ticked off at Barbara Esensten and James Harmon Brown for breaking them up. The down side is that this ends my dream of his returning to GH and being revealed as the teenage lover who got Alexis pregnant when she was 16 and is Sam's father.

And Bella, looks like we have the same dream being crushed here. I've been dreaming of Jon returning to GH and showing up as Sam's father too. At least, Sam and Livi looking alike would make sense - lol!

As for Jon playing Craig, I'm not sure how I feel about this. Jon can play the psycho, the nice guy and the grey guy really well, so he can probably do it. But he will have one major hurtle and that's the writing for the role - the last time it was just plane terrible. The problem with Craig's previous return wasn't Scott Bryce, it was the crappy writing. And honestly, if they don't have that in line, I don't think it matters who's playing him.

Oh and Jamey, if they were to snag Lynn Herring as Seirra, I think it would be even funnier, because of Mary Beth playing the role previously! Ah, Lucy and Katherine - I totally gotta go watch some nurses ball clips right now...

As much as I love Hunt Block and Scott Bryce, I am VERY interested in this bit of casting news!!! But I do NOT understand Chris Goutman's freakish obsession with recasting every role when brining a character back to the canvas.

Marie Wilson was Karen #3. Jennifer Hammon was Karen #2. Cari Shayne was #1 (GH only).

Oh, I wish they hadn't killed Karen. I would love to see Cari Shayne back in the role.

This show really doesn't make sense sometimes. They fired Jon Prescott and Dylan Bruce to bring back Grayson McCouch. But now they're hiring Lindstrom? Who will be fired to make room for his arrival? Luke & Noah?

I'm more than willing to give JL  a chance in the role but HB will always be my favorite Craig Montgomery. Nothing against JL but I would have loved to see HB back as Craig.

I've never seen JL, so I will give him a chance, but it's not going to be easy. Hunt was my first Craig, but Scott won me over (while he was in a crappy story!).

I think we can expect to see Lucy and Johnny back in Oakdale too.

Im sorry but Chris Goutman and Jean Passante have got to go, they are ruining this show, I dont think this and GL will be renewed past September 09, especially if they want only 3 shows a week. He needs to stop recasting everyone, how could he fire Martha FREAKIN Byrne, the star heroine of the show. He recasts characters just to fire them a year later, Jon Prescott, Dylan Bruce. He fired Hunt Block, who i dont think will ever come back, who audiences really liked. He hires Jeffrey Meek, who audiences were starting to warm up to, since he was bringing back the original Craig. He then brings back Scott Bryce, the original Craig and puts him in a storyline with Peg, and fires him because he wanted him to act like Hunt Block, even have the hair slicked back. Dont even get me started on how he let the character of Bryant Montgomery be killed after being on for only a year and a half. This is Craig Montgomery's and Sierra's son, Lucinda's grandson, and Lily's nephew. He could have been a Craig junior. In an interview with the actor who played him Todd Rotondi, one of the reasons they fired him was because he didnt get along with Goutman and he didnt like the way he was playing him, then why not recast him. Just look at Jennifer Munson, why not recast, this is Barbara Ryan's only daughter, the possibilities were endless.

What has happened to my ATWT, my all time favorite show, it used to be so good, now its all choppy and Peg is on 5 days a week along with Dusty now. I wish Jon Lindstrom the best and think he is an awesome actor, but he will probably be fired in a year thanks to Goutman. Douglas Marland would be ashamed of Goutman and Passante, who is Goutman going to fire and recast next? Maura West?

I barely watch ATWT so I may be speaking out of turn, but I just don't understand the decision process. Scott Bryce was the "real" Craig. I've never heard of firing the original portrayer and then bringing on a recast. I am just shaking my head. JL is a capable actor and I am sure he'll be excellent in the role. I just don't understand the why?

In my eyes, Scott Bryce and Hunt Block are the only "Craigs." The other guy doesn't count. I'm not sure about JL, I'll give him a chance but I'm feeling doubtful it will work. They should have waited a while to bring Craig back.

I agree the BEST, ill just be waiting for Lucy Coe to show up as Sierra Esteban or as Bianca Walsh, Lucinda's daughter who has never been onscreen. Speaking of that whatever happened to Lily's brother MJ, how old should he be, he's Iva Snyder's son with John Dixon. Does anyone else still miss Lily's twin Rose D'Angelo, im still not over it, she was so sassy and told it like it is. I liked her best with Scott Holroyd's Paul, whose supposed to be on Dirty Sexy Money soon.

Agim, Bianca has been on ATWT . She was played by Karina Arroyave from the late 80's until the early 90's. I don't recall the name of the actress who replaced Karina, but she was on the show very briefly.

Lynn Herring, love her to death, but she's not age appropriate for Bianca. If ATWT wanted to pull the ultimate casting coup, they would get Vanessa Marcil to play her! Oops, wrong show to start that rumor! LOL

Lynn Herring or Robin Mattson would be a better fit as Samantha Markham, Lucinda's half sister who disappeared years ago.
