Half-Baked
I was always taught by my mother, "If you don't know how to listen, you feel". I guess A.D.A. Heather Stevens never got that lesson from her own mama. Heather is too stubborn,or stupid, I can't decide which, for her own good. The last time she went up against Victor all half-cocked what happened to her? She got herself demoted by the District Attorney. Hasn't she learned not to mess with Victor? The man's like Teflon, nothing sticks.
Heather keeps saying her motivation is finding out the truth, but it makes you wonder if her pursuit of truth would be so all-consuming if her bed mate Adam wouldn't have had his ass handed to him by Victor and the rest of his family. Wasn't Heather the one who told Adam and the elder Newman kids not to let emotions fuel their motives? What the hell is fueling hers? I'm just waiting for Heather's boss to say, "Are you letting your ego get to you since you weren't able to pin Ji-Min's murder on Newman or is your new man candy pulling your strings?" You know the writing's on the wall when members of your own family start to question your judgment. Paul, Heather's own Pops, is suspicious about her reasoning for going after Victor. Nikki was right on the money when she told the snooping blonde Victor's case isn't even in her jurisdiction! I guess we're suppose to believe that with the toss of her hair Heather can try any case in the world because she has had a run in with the key players involved?
The only thing that makes me tune into this train wreck of a storyline is the fact that once The Black Knight gets word about what she's been up to, Heather will be crying like a fat kid who dropped his cake.

I absolutely love Heather, and I love her and Adam together as a couple. They are the true "troublesome twosome" and I can't get enough!!
I'm rooting for Heather to get the dirt on the Newmans and wipe the smirks off their smug, sanctimonious faces, ESPECIALLY Vict-WHORE-ia and Nikki.

How should the Newmans be punished? Heather's the one that decided to involve herself in a case that she has no legal basis for and some how got it. She comes off as exacting revenge for her boyfriend via the law. If it were something like the case leading back to Genoa City, i.e. Walter dying in GC then I'd say she's doing her job. Its too sketchy imo. She doesn't know exactly what happened like Ji-Min and is going all out yet again. Ya think she'd learn by now. As Kenny Rogers says (yeah I bumped to him before what of it?!) "You got to know when to hold em' and no when to fold em."

*LOL* Ya wino or should I say WINEHOUSE! I just don't get why the Newmans should be punished for something that they themselves don't have a clue as to how it happened. If this entire thing took place in GC I'd lay off Heather because its in her neck of the woods. Walter died in Mexico, not NEW Mexico, not Spanish Harlem but MEXICO! That's way out of her legal parameters. How she got it back to GC I still don't get because it was flimsy at best (no pun there). Her being nosy got that case back to GC and her bed buddy. Paul was right to call her on it today and weeks ago, because from day one she's had blinders on for Adam. Paul's looking at the situation from all sides and sees that she's out for revenge for her man via the law and Adam was wrong in his treatment of his siblings. He got what the duck got as my peeps used to say.

I never said Victor's above the law. I'm saying that Heather had no involvement in Walter's death and due to her curiosity she got in it. I get that the writers had to do so because they weren't going to do the, "Mexico," set thing anymore.. However, give it some realism. If the death took place in Genoa City I'd be all over those Newmans because that is Heather's town. The death took place in Mexico. What cracks me up is that today Paul mentions that the AFI and FBI don't have jurisdiction but yet they do in Genoa City?!
