Here's the Scoop! 10.16.08
There is next to nothing out there today which is typical for a Thursday. We can do a Q&A if you guys are up to it, I have some extra time today. Leave your questions in the comments and I'll answer them to the best of my SPOILER abilities. Here's what I got...
Liason Day! Elizabeth SHOULD be calling Jason over to the Studio today. From what I understand, the scenes go into Friday as well, so enjoy my fellow Liason fans.
Jax and Nikolas at war? They're definitely engaged in a battle. Who comes out the victor?
Sonny finds out about Dante! Well... he finds out that Olivia has a son.
MOC... Anthony wants Claudia to marry Sonny. Keep your friends close make your enemy your son-in-law? Claudia isn't too happy when she first finds out but she starts thinking, marry a powerful man, gain some power yourself. IF those RUMORS are true, this is when Claudia should be going to Jason with her plan. Marry me and we have most of the power. Let Sonny run the Z empire and go after Karpov.
Sonny and Jason... Old Sonny returning? Jason teaming up with someone from his past? Lots of RUMORS swirling around.
Jerry... Mr. Craig returns! What's coming will have "major consequences" for all those close to Jerry Jacks.
Lulu gets some visitors. Spixie! Maxie will go to Johnny and encourage him to go see his girlfriend. I've always thought Maxie and Johnny would be a good pairing but right now, I'm on the Spixie train! Maxie and Lulu, more friends than enemies? Looks like that's coming as Maxie MAY help Lulu one up Claudia.
Luke and Laura... back to their adventures? In case you missed it, I dropped this in the comments yesterday: Lulu's note leaver, some call it her blackmailer but really where's the blackmail, it was more like a bad re-do of I Know What You Did Last Summer... I digress. As many speculated it's Scotty and it looks like he knows Laura's making breakthroughs. Laura wakes up once again in front of Scott who now SHOULD become a blackmailer and skips town with Laura in tow. Laura punches Scott! Scott blackmails Laura into leaving with him. This spells more trouble for Lulu as the doctors don't believe that her mother woke up and has been abducted. The RUMORS go on to say that Lucky is involved in his parent's storyline as well as Nikolas and Tracy. Where's Scotty taking Laura? Somewhere that is near and dear to the couple's past. All my longtime GH fans... start guessing!
Spinelli in a straight jacket? That's happening according to the mags. I can only imagine the Maxie scenes as she not only busts out Lulu but now needs to rescue Spinelli once again.
How about a little Night Shift Scoop since it's a light day? If you haven't caught up, DO IT! This last episode was a MUST SEE for any General Hospital fan. Jagger got slapped with a custody suit by Stone's mom. Who is she? No clue but according to SPOILERS, at the end of the season (next Tuesday is the season finale), Jagger and Stone go on the run! What about Season Three? It seems to be coming but we'll have to wait and see.

ok regan any idea on who Jason is teaming up with from his past and ive heard that David Lago is going be playing Dante any truth to that
There is plenty of speculation on who Jason is teaming up with. It may not be as simple as it sounds. Some say Sam and there were RUMORS that they would be working together in some capacity with the drug smuggling. I have my own theories but they're a bit biased.
As for David Lago... he was definitely a name that was thrown out there for the Dante casting.

Liason: I'm still seeing that Liason SHOULD be the plan but as we know, plans can change. Today SHOULD be the paint fight and some nice moments for us Liason fans.
MOC: If the RUMORS are true and Claudia and Jason make it to the justice of the peace, they're not going to go through with the marriage. As far as I know, Elizabeth will have no clue about the MOC and RUMORS have said Maxie could be spilling the beans. Those RUMORS might be wrong according to some drops last night.

Yep Laura decks Scotty! I can't wait to see that one too!
The Q's... not much for them. What we saw yesterday MAY be it until Luke returns and he mixes it up with the in-laws. Revealing that Jake is Jason's has so many storyline possiblities, it's sad they won't go there. I have no idea where Alan has been.
Sorry for the confusion lcpinnow, If the RUMORS are wrong, Maxie won't be telling Liz about the almost marriage. AND you bring up a good point! My peeps that are meeting my man Steve this weekend.... we expect a full report! LOL!

Remeber how Guza can be.... regardless of how much he likes you, when he thinks you're going to walk, he changes the way your character is written. Steve Burton has been saying he is going to leave when his contract is up.

In the past when it appeared that an actor/actress was planning on leaving, the writing for that actor's character has been less than desirable. I offer Sam as an example. When it looked like KeMo was taking her exit, Sam became a baby kidnapping watcher and paying off thugs to hold a mother and her children at gunpoint type of gal. It's typical Guza and I'm just offering that as a POSSIBLE reason for why Jason MAY be written where he would consider a MOC with Claudia. A lot of you seem unhappy with Jason being written this way.

Ok, this is what I don't understand, the man must realize Liason has had a fanbase waiting for there story for like 10 yrs, you would think if Steve is leaving that Guza would give the viewers what they have been waiting for even if it would only be for a year. I say GUZA needs to go!!!!!!!There is a real chance that Jake will never be revealed before Steve leaves and that whole part of Jason will never be played out, that is very sad. I got hooked on Liason the year they had the NOP and i'm frustrated I can only imagine the people who have been here since the start. Big hugs to you guys!!!!!!

That true Regan but Guza has and is destroying many other characters, for what seems like his own pleasure. Scotty and Sonny are two of the many characters that this man has crucified just to tell his dumb stories that make no sense. Scotty and Sony were never saints but they were complex men not one dimensional idiots!

Scott and Laura's past? Their old apartment? They spent time at the disco but that would be strange considering the rape. Didn't Scott and Laura run off together once because Laura had killed David Hamilton? To New York City? Mac is living in Laura's family home so that would be a wierd place to hide her. What about Scott's family home?
I am just spitballing here.
I don't think it would be out of character for Jason to marry Claudia and tell Liz after the fact if it happened really quickly. If he had a long standing engagement and didn't tell her, that would be unlike Jason.

Well, well well. There is not that much Scott and Laura history to use to figure out where he takes her. They made love the first time in a gardening shed during a hurricane, courted at Kelly's and the house that Mac lives in (Maxie's house) and had one apartment of their own--it had brick walls. So I say they go to HOLLYWOOD! That is where they went on their original honeymoon and after L&L broke up in the late 90's and there was a brief period where laura thought she might reunite with Scott after all they took another trip to Hollywood. scott thought it would seal the deal but laura told him he had changed too much from that idealistic young man with whom she shared first love and they could not get back that magic. so, it's either Hollywood or that apartment they lived in the few months they were marrieds!

Well, lets just keep our fingers crossed that the MOC is just a rumor, I just don't care for the actress. I saw her in a lifetime movie last night and I swear there she was jumping some guys bones that she just met, that's all she ever does, yuck!!!!!Maybe Guza just ruined her character to, didn't watch GH when she was on before. Personally, i don't see Scotty as being written out of character, I think he just has some bad writing period. But Scotty was never a saint.
Sonny is a whole different story IMO.
