General Hospital: Perkie's Observations
I find I don’t have much to say today. In fact, I didn’t even take any notes. Maybe because it was more of a continuation from yesterday, with no real movement, so these obs will be brief.
Jax really needs to stop sending Carly mixed signals. I’m not a fan of Carly’s and I do believe she created this gigantic mess that her marriage has become, but Jax keeps playing the pull me/push me game and if I were Carly, I’d have to smack him.
Why is Jason so sure the bullet was meant for Kate and not meant for Sonny and missed?
I hated that Jason dragged Liz to see Kate. It just seemed very condescending to me, considering what he does for a living. And if Liz was really serious about Jason (blech!!) than she should have hauled his butt down to the morgue and said, “see these people, they won’t ever be able to go to Italy, so let’s go while were not dead yet”.
More Olivia goodness. I love Patrick, but I love that she was all, “put your money where your mouth is”. Girl doesn’t impress easily.
Nikodine: Nice that they found a bed and didn’t succumb to the temptations of the couch. I’m guessing one of them will have second thoughts though, and I’m wondering which one of the two it will be.
Still not liking Ric’s involvement in AZ’s plans, but I do like that he explained to Claudia that he wants to see what the fall out will be. That Ric I can understand.
Although I have to wonder why Anthony’s plan is so convoluted. If he wants Jason dead so badly, isn’t it just easier to kill him, rather than go the scenic route of shooting Kate, expecting Sonny to blame Karpov, Sonny getting disenchanted with Jason and turning to AZ, who will kill Karpov for Sonny and then kill Jason. I mean, there is an easier way here, people.

I would like it better if Ric got with Claudia to bring down her father especially since Anthony is the one who speared Ric.
I LOVED when Oivia told Jason to not use her cousin as Exhibt A. GAWD I love Olivia. And I hate loving her because I know TIIC will dumb her down when it comes to Sonny.
Liason, whatever. I love them but they are getting on my nerves.
What kind of woman is Claudia? She jumps Sonny's bones like he's the last man on earth and flirts with Jason like he's a Greek god yet when the sexiest man in Port Charles tries to kiss her she walks away!? WTHeck. that makes no freakin sense.
I wanted my colon cleansed so I want to thank GH for that Nik/Nadine love scene. I'm surprised nadine didn't pull out her clown bag and use her "toys" under the covers with Nik. I thought for sure she would pull out her sock puppets and use them in foreplay. Oh and Nik wanted her for so long, whatever. He was wanting Claudia but Miss Strawberry Shortcakes kept popping up. I'll be glad when her character is killed off in a sweeps event.

Perkie, loved your line about Jason and Liz, priceless. Thanx for your observations, missed today. I was to busy playing Lego Batman on my Wii to watch GH today. Sad isn't it, and yes it's deeply sad that I am also really old. Oy.

I totally thought we were going to get a steamy Claudia/Ric kiss. Sigh.

I didn't think it was possible to have even less bedtime confessions of love by Sonny then the first time Kate was shot but I guess I was wrong. Once again its all about the mob and everyone else. Geez that just gets on my nerves. These two were about as love as you can be with one another and with one shot and its like its done. Are we suppose to believe they'll stop loving one another?? All or nothing on this show and far too often its nothing.
I know I know Olivia is all that and some but IMO she's getting a little big for her britches calling out Patrick. Do look forward her taking Claudia down a notch or ten

I wondered that too, but then again, Sonny and Jason don't mean anything to her so she can flirt to her heart's content. It's just about sex. I'd like to think that she's taking her time with Ric because she knows it will be more than that between them (at least, on the show in my head it will be!!!)

Because Cody only found one rifle shell in the choir loft. Since the shooter had enough time to take a second shot and didn't, that meant that they hit the intended target, which was Kate.

I think Carly needs to keep emotional distance from Jax. She was doing really well until she started on the "that's why we need to be together" spill, and Jax got that "oh, crap" look. If she continued to play her "don't worry, we'll be fine," Jax would have continued to trip all over himself to be with her.

It's not Sam's or Liz's fault that they want Jason. Everyone knows getting shot is an aphrodisiac. You saw what the bullet in Michael's head did to Sonny and Carly. At the rate Kate's going she's soon to become a nymphomaniac!
