Gering's DAYS Role Revealed

As reported earlier, former Passions star Galen Gering (ex-Luis) has signed on at Days of Our Lives. The reports stated that he would be be acting opposite Alison Sweeney's character Sami. However, insiders are now revealing Gering will be an FBI agent linked to Salem's other bad girl Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and her sleazy, professor hubby Trent (Roscoe Born).
As previously reported, Trent gets whacked, which places Mrs. Robbins at the top of the long list of suspects. Gering's character will be heading the investigation and will start to find himself irresistable to Nicole's charms.
So does this mean his name's going to be Special Agent Goodbody?

I'm really happy to see the stars of Passions find new jobs. I think it'll be harder for some of the older actors (Kim Ulrich, Tracey Ross, etc.) to find work--even though they are talented, daytime and tv in general barely writes for women over 40.
