Night Shift News: How cool is this! According to SOAPnet, In the October 14 episode, you'll notice something so exciting, it has inspired us to set alarms so we don't miss it: Instead of the regular "Night Shift" opening theme, the show will use the 1980s title sequence from "General Hospital."
Wedding Day! Today's the day and it continues into Monday.
Pickle in the middle? Ric is caught in the middle of a brewing mob war between Sonny and Anthony. What about Anthony making it look like Karpov pulled the trigger?
Lulu and Johnny break up. I can't remember where I dropped it yesterday, it may have been in the comment, birthday blur. Johnny thinks ending things with Lulu is what's best for her. Lulu is heartbroken and done with love. A RUMOR hit a few days back that Lulu would be the one to first meet Sonny's bad boy son Dante. It didn't make sense until the break up SPOILERS popped up.
Luke's back! Tracy fills him in on what he's missed while globe trotting. It'll be Scotty vs. Luke once again. TPTB have been teasing a HUGE TWIST in Laura's story.
Uncle Mac makes another arrest! Yep, it looks like Mac is arresting Patrick once again when Patrick turns down Robin's proposal. He wants them to work it out and RUMORS say they set a wedding date. The LATEST? Scrubs will have a winter wedding.
Olivia promises to keep the secret. Patrick learns the secret and doesn't know what to do with the news. The LATEST, Olivia's secret is out by next friday. EARLY RUMORS said the audience would know what the secret is.
Sweeps... Guza says it's something never seen before on Daytime TV and the big event MAY not actually happen until the end of Sweeps. The EARLY REPORTS were of a funeral and then going back in time to tell the story leading up to it.

Edited to Add....one thing I didn't consider though was that Tiff, Sean and Luke could be in his head while he's in the coma. The actors are all filming however, so it SHOULD be new scenes and not flashbacks.
Anthony sets a trap, for Sonny. We all know Sonny thinks after he acts so I'm betting he walks right into ZaCrazy's trap.
Are we going to hear Sonny's favorite word again? Betrayal!
What's Kate's shooting SUPPOSED to do? Bring Sonny back into the mob. Who really is the intended target? RUMORS say Anthony is impressed with his marksmenship.
MORE WEDDING DAY MASSACRE SCOOP! Kate is shot at the altar. They learn the bullet is lodged near her spine and could cause paralysis if she makes it at all. Sonny is adamant that Karpov pay even though it's Anthony holding the gun. Ric will see him with the weapon and his immoral ways begin again. So Sonny wants Jason to take action but Jason feels it was a hit on Kate and not the organization. This is where Sonny will question Jason's loyalty and ask him if it was Elizabeth, would he be acting this way. Kate makes it out of surgery and Patrcik tells them she's not "out of the woods" yet. Will Patrick also tell them what Kate shared with him before she went under?
Miracle Baby? RUMORS have just hit that Sam MAY find herself in the family way, bad uterus be damned. Congrats to LuSam fans, you just MAY get a bambino, but I for one am sick of the miracle pregnancies.
BUT FIRST... Alexis catches her daughter and her man in a compromising position. Alexis dumps Jerry. Sam feels bad. Jerry hates Sam.

Good morning Regan, thanks for our updates, I look forward to them everyday. I must ask, how did you like the Liason scenes yesterday? I loved and hated these scenes. I always love to see any Liason. Loved the history nods (cliff/globe), but I hated that the scenes seemed to be so rushed (was it just me?). I didn't see Jason totally holding his heart in his hands and why didn't he spend more time at Liz's studio . . . did he need to go back so he could have a stupid conversation with Carly? I know in "real" life yes they would both have to pack for Italy and Liz would need to clear her time and see her kids, but this is a soap and they should of had more time yesterday since today everything is going to go poo, poo! Ok, I just needed to vent, I will stop my crying now.

I love Luke and Tracy together, especially when Laura is part of it.
Nothing more about Elizabeth and Jason? They made me smile so much yesterday. I was happy for Liason.
It is a pretty intense world and political climate out there these days and we need more happy moments on the soaps.

They are making "Uncle Mac" look like an even bigger bafoon by having him arrest Patrick just because he won't marry his gd niece. Jesus....this has got to be the most stupid s/l ever! They don't have to be married JUST because they are pregnant, it's the 21st century and THAT is no reason to be married and the quickest road to divorce. And haven't they beat that horse dead????

i've got to defend sam's uterus:) i though dr. kelly told sam the chances of her carrying a baby to term were slim, not impossible. i don't believe anyone ever said she was barren or couldn't concieve. just that it would be a major high risk pregnancy (see b&b's katie and gl's reva and a billion others). anyway i for one see a subtle difference between unlikely and impossible.

Liason... thought there was going to be more yesterday. I liked the small nods to history. Loved that they were happy. Nothing new on them this AM.
Sam's uterus... it's not her uterus I have an issue with. It's all the miracle babies on soaps. Sam herself says over and over again that she can't have children. Infertility is a hard issue for couples to overcome and I feel in the soap opera world, they make it out to be like oops I guess you can have children. Now if this was a storyline about Sam and Lucky going through treatments and procedures to be able to conceive, I'm all for it.

regan, i asked a question yesterday, but it was on page 3 so i hope you don't mind if i re-ask. re: sam's uterus. i read somewhere a long time ago that perhaps someone had manipulated her tests and that she really didn't have any problems. had you heard of that at any point or am i smoking something?

Regan completely agree on the miracle babies. I'm sick of GH saying infertility can be solved with lots and lots of sex or if you have that one night stand with the ex, his sperm will miraculously go through where no one else's could. Stop making folks infertile and unable to conceive if you then want them to be pregnant.

I know a few of those who are unlikely and couldn't conceive. Maybe if I didn't know them, it wouldn't rub so much, yk? And difficult pregnancies require a lot of bedrest. Do you really think they are going to have her get pregnant and then spend the next 11 months (cause GH can't do 9 month like normal folks...) in bed? No, they'd have her running all over the place still taking risk or whatever. And seriously, this is not a knock on Sam, I was irritated when they threatened to do it with Carly as well.
If they actually took the time to make it medically relevant--did the fertility treatments and/or had a preemie child, I could totally get behind it, just not the "accidental" pregnancy thing.

I actually am not excited about the baby idea unless maybe it leads her to want to know more about her bio background. I am more interested in seeing Sam explore who she is as a person, find a true and lasting career and then have her miracle baby.

Making a woman infertile and then having her...oops...get pregnant is a soap cliche. Now I don't mind soap cliches, but this one is so overused, it's ridiculous.
That said, a Cassadine/Spencer Miracle Baby rocks!! Shhh... no one tell Helena!

SCOOP... so remember the "will they marry, won't they marry" talk? It appears that Sonny and Kate will not officially be husband and wife when the bride winds up in a pool of blood. The vows they were SPOILED to be exchanging MAY only be what we saw yesterday as they rehearsed. That doesn't mean Sonny won't be someone's husband, Kate MAY just not be the wife.
Sexy paint fight... still seeing that it's coming. It MAY be Elizabeth wanting to give the Studio a fresh coat of paint or all the time she's recently spent there MAY have the artist in her coming out.

thanks regan for answering my question.hope your birthday rocked. for everyone who has had personal experience with infertility, i totally agree with you and think a fertility storyline would be great and could lead into sam looking for her father.
storyline wise, i do think there should be some repopulating of gh because michael and morgan are being aged, cam and jake probably will be once liz and jason are put together (sorry, ugh) and spencer is a mere bleep on the radar. see a trend? no girls! how hilarious for sam to have a girl that every guy in town would want? see a trend? oh i did forget about alexis' girls. but they will be vying for johnny from lulu next month, so let's have sam be a mommy - with good story. then sam and robin could be in the same mommy and me group.
don't like liz and jason but i am glad they are using that loft. i still say jake should have been named "art" or some artist, because i think of jake's as a place for carly or robin, regardless of it being where liz and jason met. art has always been a connector for the two and that would have made more sense.
here's another pet peeve: interrupted weddings. when i got married the minister mispelled my middle name, so we were worried it wasn't legal. the courthouse said as long as it was filed correctly there, then we were married. no one ever mentions this, with the exception of one b&b storyline. every couple who's marriage is interrupted are legally, technically married. i think religious services are important but in the eyes of the government it's the license that counts. so i would say kate and sonny are already legally married. although i do have this fear that at some point someone is going to come to the door and tell me i'm not

Good afternoon Regan, glad you had a good birthday, keep it going, it's the weekend, don't stop celebrating. First, I am so excited about the opening of NS2, the writer there is great and he should come to GH and bring back what it's missing.As far as Sam/Lucky having a baby, I don't think I have ever seen a story about invetro which now a days is common, alot of friends had it done and would be a good story and a believable one. We had the fertile story but never this one before. It would all work out if Jake's paternity is outed and Lucky could have a child.This wedding of Sonny/Kate is getting really stupid and I don't even care anymore about it. I thought he marries Connie instead of Kate? That makes more sense. You can't have a fill in bride. When this son of Sonny's comes, I sure hope it's Kate's and not Olivia's that means Sonny would eventually fall for Olivia because she is the mother of his child and Kate would be the bad person for keeping the secret? Didn't I hear that story before?Just give me my paint fight and I will be happy.
