Y&R: Victor's Back, Take Cover

Nikki scours the fishing village that Victor was last seen in and finally breaks down from exhaustion. Just when Nikki finally concedes that the love of her life is really gone, Victor appears over her! Nikki’s stunned, but over the moon that Victor is alive however, the feelings aren’t mutual. Most recently, Victor wished she was the one six feet under.

Nikki’s jubilation turns to rage when Victor proclaims to her that he wants to stay "dead” to everyone because he is tired of the in-fighting of his children and the pressure of running a successful business such as Newman Enterprises.

Back at home, the Newman siblings all receive letters from Victor in case of his death. Victor tells Victoria that she was the one person in life he never wanted to let down.

Victor finally recognizes that Nick's his own man and admits that he’s proud of Nick and wished he was the type of father his boy has become. This revelation moves Nick since he and his father had a tenuous relationship and now that he’s “dead” isn’t able to make amends.

When Adam reads his letter privately, Victor praises him for being a chip off the old block and sees himself in Victor II. What captures Adam’s attention is Victor asking his son not to shut out Victoria and Nick. Adam sees his letter as Victor trying to make amends from cutting Victoria and Nick out of the will and splitting up the Newman wealth equally with his elder siblings/enemies. He decides to ignore his father’s wish and destroys his letter.

Nikki tells her children that daddy’s alive, but not doing so great. The kids are ecstatic that their daddy’s alive and kicking and want to reunite with him however, Nikki lets the kids know of Victor wanting to stay away from Genoa City.

Seems like Victor decided being a corpse isn’t the way for him and returns home where Adam and new roommate Heather get the shocks of their lives-- Victor walks in on them getting busy on the couch! A stunned Adam watches as Victor, true to form, walks on by like nothing happened.

Victor gets back to business when he has Michael send Neil to the Newman ranch. At the ranch, Victor puts Neil back in charge of Newman and is pissed to find out that Adam hijacked Newman and fired Victoria.

As Victor cleans up house, Victoria and Nick find out from the Newman housekeeper that their dad’s back home. The duo head off to see him and are shocked when Michael lets them know that their father isn’t holding an audience, but is dealing with business. Vic and Nick are a bit hurt that their father doesn’t want reunite, but insteand wants to do damage control.

Adam gets a turn in the hot seat when Victor rips into him for his behavior. He doesn’t get a chance to explain things to Victor when pops gives him the Victoria and Nick special: He fires him and kicks him off the Newman Ranch, pretty much washing his hands of him. It seems like Victor's kicking ass and taking notes at the door.
