Susan Lucci Dancing With the Stars After All
Turns out the alleged Dancing With the Stars cast list had at least one of its actors right! Dust off those dancing shoes soap fans, Susan Lucci is going to be on the next season of the ABC hit reality show.
Now I do not profess to be a DWTS expert, but can anyone tell us what Susan's odds are with partner Tony Dovolani? I know that many feel that if you're paired with Cheryl Burke you have a better chance of winning. How does Susan being paired up with Dovolani look to those of you who really know the show?

No handicapping here; I prefer to do all of that kind of thing during the actual competition where we will...um, you know, see them actually dance.
Having said that, I like this entire lineup very much. Lucci, TED MCGINLEY (!?!?), Sapp, Greene, Leachman, Burke and TONI BRAXTON!
I'm a huge DWTS fan, but I am SO there this season!

i think susan scored by getting paired with tony. he's a great teacher and he always makes his partners look so elegant. that being said, the judges on DWTS do tend to go real hard on the more mature female contestants. they did it to jane seymour last season (who was wonderful and got voted out before her time, partially due to the harsh comments from the judging panel) and others before her.
anyway, i am really looking forward to the new DWTS season. been a fan since KeMo won it in season one.

I would pay good money if someone could find a way to erase the term "jump the shark" out of the entertainment vocabulary once and for all or at least find a way to teach a class about what the damn term really means.

LOL, season! My other pet peeve (especially on ABC daytime) is branding everything "amazing":

I'm excited at seeing some new dance pro's. Lacey was on So You Think You Can Dance within the last 2 years, and Corky Ballas father of Mark Ballas is World class Latin dancer. I remember watching Corky and Shirley Ballas ballroom dance on PBS years and years ago...

Tony, is steady, and perfect for Lucci.
I do think he is a better choice than Maxim or Alec, and definetly than Derek.
Mark Ballas does not seem the 'type' to gel with her, I think Tony is good because he is so strict, she may need that.
Lucci, seem to be very disciplined, but he will push her!
I'd love to see 3 finalist: Leachman, Kardashian, and Lucci!
