"Dallas" cast Reunites for 30th anniversary

Get ready to saddle up once again to the Southfork ranch! The cast of the hit prime-time drama, Dallas will reunite on Nov. 8 at the family homestead for the 30th anniversary of the show.
So far three of the show's original cast, Larry Hagman, Linda Gray and Patrick Duffy, have all agreed to attend the event.
The show is best known for starting the cliffhanger trends in soap with the "Who shot J.R.?" storyline that continued throughout the 1979-1980 season which happened to net a whopping 90 million viewers turning in for the answer.
Dallas revolved around the trials and tribulations of the Ewing family, a wealthy Texas family in the oil and cattle-ranching businesses.
The reunion at the ranch in suburban Parker, north of Dallas, is open to the public. Tickets go on sale Aug. 22 and will cost between $100 and $1,000. The event will include fireworks, a country music concert, a question-and-answer session with the cast and tours of the mansion.

Christ Almighty, I pray to the soap gods (is that heresay??) that this reunion looks nothing like that dreadful, dreadful Dynasty reunion that aired on CBS a few years ago. Why CBS when Dynasty aired on ABC, you ask? That's what everyone else wondered, too: all 2 million people who watched it as it came in dead last in the ratings that night.
The burning question is Has Larry Hagman devolved further into looking like a character from a mid-70's Sid & Mart Kroft puppet show? Inquiring minds want to know.

DS its not going to be broadcasted, from what I found out. Its like a fan event they have @ the actual Southfork ranch in Dallas.

Jillian, I should have read the announcement more closely.
Pray thee, CBS does not use this as an opportunity for an on air show anyway. The high def version of Hagman's eyebrows would blow out my flat screen.

DS not a prob. I thought it would be broadcasted also since it was being hyped up via the AP wire. Maybe they will do it later on.
FYI: No you did NOT just throw fish grease on Larry Hagman! *LOL* Leave J.R. alone!

DS now you are gonna have to lay off my JR! Much like Scarlett O'Hara, that man taught me everything I know in regards to relating to people and running a successful business/family!

Jillian, if anyone deserves to have fish grease thrown on them it's JR.
Sisko, I'm still thinking about the comment you made about Cindy McCain and Sue Ellen.
And Jamey, Scarlett O'Hara, really?!? You are a trip w/o a suitcase.
Also, what about the original Stax, Ray and Lucy?

Oh my girl Charlene Tilton will be there with bells on! LMAO She never misses a turn to feel some Lucy Ewing love and I don't blame her. That Victoria tries to get huffy sometimes and she KNOWS hadn't nobody called her for work sine Titans got canceled on NBC!

Those Principal Secret Skin Care informercials don't count? I've been misinformed! And misinfomercialed!
I didn't throw any fish grease toward Mr. Hagman NOR JR Ewing (although I profess to a slight preference for the business teachings of Angela Channing!). I was however referring to the rather frightening state of his Yoda-Wilford Brimley-HR Puff 'N Stuff eyebrows in the last couple of reunion movies, which apparently took acting lessons on their own.
And Season, did you check out those interviews with Cindy McCain after an overzealous fan aggravated her carpel tunnel by shaking her hand too hard? Cindy had the same expression on her face that Sue Ellen did when she was sneaking unladylike sips of that fifth of bourbon she'd hid in the closet in JR's coat pocket. I'm just sayin'....

When Larry Hagman goes on to the big Ranch in the sky, I will have to take a few days off from work, sit at home, drinking bourbon and branch and calling family members to say, "You're just a little tramp like your Mama and if you're not careful you'll end up just like your good for nothing Daddy, my brother Gary!" for kicks.

Oh how I loved those breakfasts and dinners at Southfork!! I watch Dallas on Soapnet sometimes and I actually remember the episodes, how sad is that?!

Pam got on my last nerves! She was so high and mighty! Always wanting Bobby to move off the ranch and siding with that no account brother of hers Cliff Barnes! I preferred Sherri J. Wilson as my beloved April Stevens, the second Mrs. Bobby Ewing who was bruttally gunned down-in a rabbit fur coat (To hell with PETA) on her honeymoon as a result of the machinations of Susan Lucci. Damn you Sheila Foley!!!!!!!!

YOU PREFERRED SOMEONE OTHER THAN PAM!! BLASPHEMY, I SAY, BLASPHEMY!!!!
Also, your a grown ass man, a flithy rich grown ass man at that, and your still living w/ your parents and a brother that made Saddam Hussein look like a misunderstood mischief. Heck yeah, it's time to go! And leave Cliff alone, it was sad how he always ended up w/ the short end of the stick.

I thought it was just me that felt like JR was just misunderstood.. I always LOVED Sue Ellen, Pam did get on my nerves.

Cliff Barnes was a loser just like his Daddy! He never had the sense God gave a goat! LMAO I used to love seeing JR beat him each and every time! I will admit I wanted Pam and Bobby to get back together when he was in that awful, chemistry-deprived relationship with Jenna Wade, but all in all April and her trashy little sister Michelle-who had television's best haircut EVER-were my girls. They were like an early version of Jane and Sydney Andrews Mancini on Melrose Place.

I always felt sorry for that poor, dumb Cliff...just when it looked like he finally had the upper hand, JR would beat him down again
And I STILL can't believe he let Afton get away from him!! IDIOT! But I loved him anyway - oh how he loved his chinese takeout
Oh and Jenna - you know she had some fire in her in the beginning but that was snuffed out pretty quick...
LOVED Katherine though!!

You are so right Jillian. For me Sue Ellen and J.R. are the real super couple of "Dallas". Screw Pam and Bobby! LOL
Great that a reunion is planed for the fans. Just a shame that they don't broadcast it.

I am the biggest Dallas fan in the Universe, it used to be my ringtone, but I'll be damned if I pay a thousand dollars. Are they crazy? I mean it's not like they're gonna have Nelly or Michael Phelps at Southfork!

Jamey, you just said the magic words "Michael Phelps".
And you'd be willing to pay $1,000 to see Nelly?! You better make it quick though because that ship is sinking quick.
