Who would have guessed that when Lucas returned to Salem that there might be a pairing with Chloe in his future? I certainly didn't but then again I don't read Days of Our Lives spoilers religiously. Needless to say the discussion of just such a pairing came up on this weeks Days of Our Lives and CBS episode of Daytime Confidential.
Personally, I think it's time to say good riddance to Sami and Lucas and get behind another pairing. If that is Chloe then so be it. I think Nadia and Bryan have great chemistry and it would certainly spice things up on the show. Apparently, I'm not the only one intrigued by a Lulo (what would their squish name be anyways?). Chloe and Lucas are hot as heck together. I hope so bad that the writers see the chemistry between them and go for it. Sami and Lucas are so 5 years ago. We need some new blood and new couples on the show.

See I think it's time for Lucas to grow some, quit bashing Sami for everything she does, good or bad, and become a man of his own. Just the same way I think that Sami needs to be apart from Lucas. These two need to develop their own identities.

I feel that Sami and Lucas are done for and need to go their separate ways and become friends again because Lucas has become a whiny, spoil man-child who yells at her when he doesn't gets his way and always making Sami think that she is dirt and I sick of Sami for putting up with his crap and throw him the hell out of her life and move on to someone who will love her for her.

As soon as Lukas came back to the show I cut my viewing in half. His sanctimonious crap is not entertaining and it sucks the life right out of Sami Brady. I thought Days really turned around after the strike, but lately I'm seeing some issues on the show. They need to step it up.

Luke, I liked one of your comments from a podcast ages ago about taking Lucas' character in a completely different direction; make him be single for awhile, show the struggles of being a single Dad, raising a daughter, sharing custody and dealing with an ex-wife and her new husband (ok, so I might have added that last part in LOL). That would give the character something new to deal with, as well as his own storyline, somewhat away from Sami (I can't remember the last time Lucas had a storyline of his own). Also, there is the added bonus of making him a bit more realistic and relatable. In his current state, I can't stand Lucas' character and his continual self-righteous... (for lack of a better word) Lucas-ness!!!
I didn't vote in the poll because I wouldn't wish this version of Lucas on any of the female characters on Days right now.
