Mary-Louise Parker's "Weeds" Premieres Tonight
By Luke Kerr on June 16, 2008

It really is true, all roads lead back to either daytime or commercials. The third fourth season of Weeds premieres tonight on Showtime.
What some may not know, and I certainly didn't until I did a little digging, is that Weeds' leading lady Mary-Louise Parker (Nancy Botwin) got her start on Ryan's Hope and her costar Elizabeth Perkins (Celia Hodes) once portrayed June Ellis on The Doctor. As one of my favorite comedies I can't wait for the third season of Weeds, which promises to be a maryjane induced hell of a ride.

Luke - It's actually the FOURTH season of Weeds coming up. I love the show myself for various reasons but if you look on ITunes, you can find season three has just been released on DVD. Nancy accidentally burned downed the community of Agrestic and in this season she will be moving her family closer to the Mexican border while Celia sits in jail for Nancy's crimes. Also, they move in with Nancy's ex-father-in-law, played by Albert Brooks and she takes her "business" to a higher level to include smuggling and possibly harder drugs for sale. It sounds promising and I just read a four star review in the NY Daily News. The NY Times also has a good review at their website as well.

UGH....I should have known that! The seasons are so short though it drives me nuts.
