Cameron Mathison and Sherri Shepherd to Co-Host Daytime Emmys

The Daytime Block Voting Celebration, er 35th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards have found a pair of co-hosts. According to Soap Opera Weekly Online, The View's oh-so-cerebral Sherri Shepherd and All My Children's Cameron Mathison are set to officiate this year's telecast on June 20. Mathison, who also has an upcoming TLC game show entitled Your Place Or Mine (Isn't that what Sam Malone used to ask his lovely young fillies on Cheers?), seems to be giving American Idol's Ryan Seacrest a run for the title of the Hardest Working Man in Show Business, vacated by the late James Brown.

More of Robot Matthison? I feel like he is being forced on us in much the same way as the talentless unattractive drone Ryan Seacrest. Blander than tofu these two. I don't get it.
Plus the woman who thinks the earth is flat. I feel so sorry for all you DC bloggers who are being forced to watch the show!

Unlike Ryan Seacrest I think Cameron is a great guy. He overcame a lot in his childhood with his psychical difficulties, so for him to be as much of a heartthrob as he is now is a testament. I enjoy him much more as a host than I do as an actor, LOL. I would watch his talk show, but I don't like his storylines on AMC.

Oh that's interesting, what's the story on his childhood?
By the way, I was privileged to see James Brown in concert three years ago and I was totally unprepared by how phenomenal he would be. This man was in his late 60s early 70s and he went out there and put on a show for over two hours, dancing, singing, doing his patented splits... It was awesome. Just like when I saw Tina Turner. All those musicians cut their teeth on actual performances instead of making a record then figuring out how to perform. So cool. Maybe Tina can do a soap appearance on her upcoming tour, lol.

I like Cameron on AMC, dont get me wrong, but I can't STAND how he always seems to be the center of the ABC Daytime (Male) stars. Every event it is Cameron this Cameron that. It's just to bad they couldn't use someone else who isnt going to strip at the Emmy's ...
