One Life to Live: Andrea Evans Talks Tina's Return and Horrifying Experience With 80's Stalker on ET

Ravishing redhead Andrea Evans talked to Entertainment Tonight about her upcoming valiant return to One Life to Live as her most famous role-schemer Tina Lord Roberts. Evans, who also played Paul Williams' sister and Jack Abbott's love interest Patty on The Young and the Restless, shot to fame on OLTL as Viki Lord's trouble-prone little sister. The price Evans paid for her international fame, however, was becoming the obsession of a mentally ill stalker. Evans left OLTL at the height of her popularity and although she has appeared on The Bold and the Beautiful and Passions since leaving the role of Tina, she is now set to return to the ABC soap for the first time in 18 years. Rebecca was a cartoon character. The only rooting value she had was her escapades with Julian and that it was Andrea, but that's it. Tina is the biz!!!! Rebecca was a lame Tina wannabe.

This is a dream come true for many fans of Andrea and OLTL. She is the definitive "Tina" and the texture of the show has always been different without her there, even when the role was recast.

Are you serious? Passions is CANCELED! How can she be betraying a job that isn't there anymore. Besides, she was never on contract, anyway, just recurring. She could have been back at OLTL, but chose to stick with Passions until the end. That, my dear, is a dedicated employee. Forgive Andrea for wanting to return to her most popular role and get some more cash.

She went back a little too soon for my taste. Passions is barely cold in the ground and she's already back on OLTL.

I don't think so. As good as Evans was on "passions" she has always been and always will be known as Tina Lord. It is the role she will ALWAYS be known as.

I am glad Andrea Evans is back on OLTL as Tina, she will always be the one and only Tina for me! I am also grateful that there are Stalker Laws out there that protects celebs from stalkers/whackos that are out there. Hopefully this guy is locked up somewhere far away from Andrea. It's ashame that she had to leave OLTL because of this guy, but now that she is back, all is right in the world of OLTL! Welcome Back Andrea! We missed our Tina!

I was reading the other comments and as a long time OLTL veiwer (Since I was a baby) I will say this in Andrea's defense. She never wanted to leave OLTL, in fact if those Stalker Laws were in place back then, she would have been at OLTL for decades now.
I remember when she came out of hiding and started to do soaps again that she said in a interview that she whould have loved to come back to OLTL but the memories of being stalked were still fresh. I don't think her jumping from Passions to OLTL so soon after Passions cancellation is an insult to fans. I've never seen Passions, but you must remember, as a working actor, you need to find work and Ron Cavilari(sorry if I miss spelled his name) (head Writer, OLTL) did his magic and brought her back home were she belongs.
I think maybe what some angry Passions fans should do is just go on UTube and see some of her past work on OLTL as Tina. I know Passions fans are going to miss her as Rebecca, but at least give Andrea a chance and watch her in the role that made her an icon.
