As the World Turns: Weeeee! Let's Jump Up and Down On A Bed Like 3-Year-Olds

I'm sitting here watching As the World Turns, Luke and Noah are in Noah and Ameera's new home; they are excited to finally be alone since Ameera and Casey are out on the town somewhere, so what do they do? They run into Noah's bedroom and start jumping up and down on the bed like 3-year-olds! WTH?
No college age guy, hetero or gay, alone with his significant other, is going to run into a bedroom and jump up and down like he's three going on four. What is this The Sound of Music? Next thing we know Luke and Noah will break out singing:

Ok, they may be a couple years older than 16 or 17 but still...What next, a giant pillow fight with feathers flying everywhere? How remedial can they make these two?
Have to hand it to As the World Turns, they sure know how to string things out.

It was the weirdest thing...
But they made up for it when they took each other's shirts off. But you start to think: They can show them half naked about to have sex, but you can't show them kissing?

I'm not sure I agree with the whole thing that they were de-sexualized today. That moment were they took off their shirts and the look that they gave each other was sexy.
I still have hope that they will have better Luke and Noah stuff this summer when they can get more young people to watch.

I understand dragging things out, but at least every other supercouple got a couple of smooches in the midst of their angst. It's because they are gay, plain & simple. CBS/P&G can lie all they want. As a gay man, I know the truth. Catch it! We're not asking for love making scenes, complete with pasties, candles, & romantic music. We would just like a little flirting and a few smooches. What gives?! You would think that ATWT would cash in on having the first gay male supercouple, but no. Idiots.

That's cool. . .It's always hard to comment on the Luke and Noah stuff. Should they kiss yes. . .but it is not the reason why I watch the show. . . at the moment Brad and Katie are. I feel for the hard core Nuke fans, but I I can't get all worked up about it.
I don't mind their current storyline. It's an ok obstacle. It's better than some of things that they've thrown at other couples. I just hope that there is a pay-off for all this build up.

Jumping on the bed? Confusing. Maybe it was a foreshadowing of the bed-hopping later in the episode?
But when the shirts came off, even if there wasn't a kiss, it was pretty damn hawt.

I totally agree with you here Luke! The way they are writing these guys...one minute they give these smokin' hot looks like they are going to rip each others clothes off and have at it right there; the next they are jumping on the bed? Has anyone ever done this with their significant other instead of what was expected to happen?

Well, I thought the whole thing was funny...a funny nod to the audience and, I guess I would be jumping up and down in the bed too if I'd been through what they'd been through.....especially considering how THEY WERE INTERRUPTED MAKING OUT HALF NAKED NOT A COUPLE OF SCENES LATER!
How are they "de-sexualized" groping each other?

And Luke, I don't think any show ever (besides on LOGO)will ever address sexual positions in the gay lifestyle, which is sad. It can add so much depth to a character.
