All My Children: Cassandra Foster Cast
By Luke Kerr on April 03, 2008
For weeks rumors have been swirling that All My Children was looking to the character of Cassandra Foster, Angie Hubbard's daughter. We can now confirm that America's Next Top Model's Yaya Docosta has been cast in the role. Docosta was the season three runner up of America's Next Top Model and is scheduled to first appear in Pine Valley on April 25.
As rumors of the potential casting grew Daytime Confidential's Jamey, in a recent "Wishful Casting" discussed who, in the industry, he'd like to see cast in the role of Cassie Foster. It appears however, that All My Children decided to look "outside" the industry.
What do you think of the casting of Cassandra Foster. Are you looking forward to the character?

Oooh I loved me some Yaya, she is such a DIVA! She better calm down before she runs into Susan Lucci at the Kraft services table though! LOL

Since ANTM, Yaya has done a couple of movies and TV guest spots, including being in that Antonio Banderas dance movie, so hopefully that means she'll be up to the task!

So they decided to go with a model that they hope can act instead of a real, proven actress who could hold her own with Debbie and Darnell.
THIS is part of the reason soaps are going down the drain. I predict a recast within six months, assuming they don't use the actress' lack of talent as an excuse to phase out the Hubbards altogether.
I smell a Fronsian setup.

Yaya did extremely well in Take the Lead and got high praise from her costar Antonio Banderas. So how about you wait until you see her in action on another medium if you've never seen her act before.
Please how would Yaya "lack of acting" phae out the Hubbards - like the whole storyline and them remaining onscreen falls on her. GTFO

YES! I LOVE Yaya! I always wanted her to win over Eva, but she wasn't humble enough. A little too arrogant. But, she's doing more than Eva now, so...LOL. I hope that AMC does her justice. Good luck, Yay. I pray to God that she isn't a fusion girl because of her modeling background.

I never watch America's Top Model, reality tv needs to go away. Although, I am looking forward to seeing her and am eager to see what she can do! But against Debbie and Darnell, she better bring her 'A' game big time or she'll be out the door so fast!!!!

Oh Danielle you MUST watch Top Model. It is so a soap! A house full of emotional, catty, hungry women fighting to be the next recurring role on a low-rated CW series and/or lower rated ABC soap opera, it's amazing!
