Wishful Casting: Donna Mills as Bold and the Beautiful's Beth Logan
With so many of her Knots Landing and Dallas peers turning up on daytime in recent years (Ted Shackleford and Joan Van Ark on Young and the Restless; Patrick Duffy and Linda Evans on Bold and the Beautiful. Kent Masters King on General Hospital and Kevin Dobson, soon-to-be on Days of Our Lives) wouldn't it be awesome if the best bitch to ever dwell in a SoCal cul-de-sac Donna Mills (aka Abby Fairgate Ewing) joined the cast of B&B as long absent Logan matriarch Beth?
Mills still looks just as hot as she did when she was scorching up primetime Thursday nights 20 years ago on the underrated Knots Landing. JR and Alexis might have gotten most of the attention from the mainstream press, but there has never been a more delicious blonde she-devil than Abby Ewing. Who better to play the mother of sin sisters Brooke and Donna? Not to mention gently chide youngest Logan sister Katie about her lack of fashion sense. I know Beth wasn't written as a glamazon during her earlier runs on the show, but a few years in Paris will change even the frumpiest of frumps. And with Mills in town, there would finally be someone in Los Angeles capable of taking on Hurricane Stephanie!

I love your wishful casting ! B*B needs more faces they have done stunt casting but this should be permanent She looks like she can hold her own in a sister fight with Brooke and maybe donna (Not really a fan of Donna's or her face)

Glad you enjoy them! Donna Mills is an all time fave of mine. As is Nicolette Sheridan. Knots was the best primetime soap by far and that's saying something, because so many back then were awesome, Dallas, Falcon Crest, etc!

I watched all the primetime soaps and Knots was my favorite! I Loved to Hate Abby, and I adored Donna Mills!!
It's a great idea Jay!! But if it ever happened, I could not stand it if they just added Beth/DM to the list of women pursuing Eric... I would just not be able to stand it! Donna Mills' Beth would just be too fabulous for Eric!!
And this leads me to one of my few problems with B&B. There are so many fabulous, sexy, smart women on the show (Felicia, Steph, Jackie, Ash, Taylor, etc...) but no men that are worthy of them. We need some Hot, Kick ♥ss Men, pronto!!! Preferably under 50...

If anyone saw her recent Nip Tuck appearance, they could have seen how well she hasn't held up. I think the work she's had done looks even worse than the surgeries that Hunter Tylo has had.

I didnt see that episode, but are you sure they didn't have her made up to fit the character who was supposed to be obsessed with plastic surgery? I saw her on the Today Show a month or so ago for a mini Knots Landing reunion and she looked beautiful.

Okay I just watched the Nip/Tuck scenes on You Tube. I bet you have her confused with Joan Van Ark, seen above. Or you are talking about how Mills looked after Christian turned her character into a catwoman. That was part of the storyline and she was wearing prosthetic makeup. Mills is still striking for her age and doesn't show signs of extreme surgery.
