With breaking word that Victoria Rowell may be coming to One Life to Live as Evangeline we thought we'd put up a poll to see what everyone thought of the possibility?
Daytime Confidential has also been told by a "birdie" that Evangeline isn't the only character possibility. If she joins One Life to Live there is a good possibility that if she isn't Evangeline that she could be Rachel Gannon or even an entirely new character.
Would you accept Rowell as Evangeline or is Renee Elise Goldsberry the only Evangeline for you?

I would prefer if Renee came back to play Evangeline, AND Victoria came to One Life as a totally new character. She would be a good addition to the show. I think One Life would be a good place for her.. it is a more diverse, light-hearted, well balanced show. They would actually use and appreciate her.

Wait, I don't get it. Isn't Evangeline off the air because they couldn't come to an agreement about money w/ Renee? And now they might be bringing on Victoria who probably costs twice as much? I don't think I like that...
I'd prefer seeing Victoria back on Y&R or even better, on B&B mixing it up with Stephanie! She's just the shot in the arm that B&B needs

I really think a new character is in order here. Just remember I love Vicky Ro and I want her here in NY. Though, Drucilla coming back with HER face would be better.

I agree that she's too old to be Rachel Gannon. I also think she's too old to play Evangeline. She'd make a great love interest for RJ Gannon but it would be too much to hope to bring him on more regularly. She could mix it up with Bo or Clint and make them more interesting again.

I think the other posters are right. I think VR is too expensive for OLTL to afford and if they brought her on, it would be to the detriment of other characters I'd rather see. Their budget is already tight as evidenced by nearly all the characters either living at the Buchanan Manse or Dorian's La Boulaie.
If OLTL is willing to spend the money, then I say bring back REG as Vang. I wouldn't mind seeing VR as a totally new character providing I don't see less of Vicki, Dorian, Lindsay, Nora, Clint, Bo, and Roxy in the process.
