NAACP Daytime Nominees Announced

The NAACP Announced their 38th Annual NAACP Award Nominations yesterday including their nominees for the TV Daytime Drama categories. The awards show will air on February 14th on FOX.
This year's nominees are as follows:
Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series
• Nazanin Boniadi – General Hospital
• Christel Khalil – The Young And The Restless
• Brook Kerr – Passions
• Tracey Ross – Passions
• Tika Sumpter – One Life to Live
Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series
• Kamar de los Reyes – One Life to Live
• Kristoff St. John – The Young And The Restless
• Bryton McClure – The Young And The Restless
• Mykel Shannon Jenkins – The Bold and the Beautiful
• Tobias Truvillion – One Life to Live

Mykel Shannon Jenkins – The Bold and the Beautiful? What? With all due respect to him, he hasn't actually done anything on B&B yet... IMO, this shows that there are some slim pickings on Daytime TV now

Considering that the NAACP doesn't recognize any other soaps but Young and the Restless, I can already tell you Christel Khalil and Bryton McClure have this sewn up. Why not Kristoff St. John, you ask? He's won it more than a few times.

Wow, I now know for a fact that the NAACP is a farce, when they nominated a newbie like Nazanin Boniadi – General Hospital that everyone despise and think as no talent over great talent like Sonya Eddy & Kent Master King.
I am speechless!
